- As a vegan, there is a severe lack of bun options at supermarkets. So to save our taste buds, I've tested a bunch of different brioche bun recipes and came up with this one. It's tasty, easy, and some of the best buns I've ever tried.
Recipe:
350g Bread Flour
10g Salt
40g Granulated Sugar
1 Tbsp Instant Yeast
45g Vegan Butter
220g Vegan Milk
Extra Butter for Melting

Alas, I already used someone else's recipe, which is similar, but I wish I'd found this one first. Ah, well, I'll use your baking instructions and hope for the best. ThanksForPosting : )
Well next time you make brioche I assure you, you will absolutely adore this recipe.
They are just insanely good. I have them in the morning toasted with butter and jam/jelly. So so good :)
These are freaking amazing!! I added maple syrup to the melted butter.... they smell like damn donuts dude soooooooo good my 3 year old, is not a huge fan of breads, but she LOVED this!!! Thank you soooo much for sharing!!!

Looks delicious 😋 Must try 👍
Thank you, I hope you enjoy them!
Also, a cool tip. If you divide them up into 12 balls instead of 6, and fry them for a couple minutes each side. You get incredible brioche donuts :)
@@ChaoticFood Thanks 👍
Love it!
Thanks!
Hahaha love the intro! Just found your channel. Subscribed :)
Thank you, I hope you enjoy the rest of our videos :) If you ever have any questions or want to see a specific type of video let me know and I'll add it to the list!
Underrated account!!
Thank you! I'm planning on making content again soon. Been so busy setting up my own food business the last year but very excited to come back! Have a great week ❤️
Con que lo bañas antes del horno y después del horno? Que le pones encima? Lo otro que quería saber, a cuántos grados de el horno?
It is really the best! Than the rest!
these look amazing tysm!!!!
My dough is rising as we speak. So far so good :)
Close ups of desired dough texture would be very helpful!
Thank you and I hope it turned out well! I'll keep that in mind going forward thank you so much ❤️
@@ChaoticFood the buns came out a bit too dense, should have let them proof longer. but overall they were good.
00:58 me puedes decir escrito que es lo que dices? Soy de Chile, Latinoamérica, y no logro entenderte nada amigo porfa ayúdame
No entiendo que dices después hasta que pones la bandeja en el horno
What kind of butter was that?
I believe in this specific video I used vitalite butter. I'm in the UK and as far as I'm aware, vegan butter brands are pretty country specific.
If you happen to be in the UK, Vitalite and Stork are the best. For baking and cost, Stork is what I use all the time now.
If you're outside of the UK, anything that mentions baking in the packaging would be a good shout.
Stay away from dead cheap vegan butter (unless it mentions it's good for baking). In my experience they are pretty shit for baking. I find it makes doughs/batters much wetter. These brands would be supermarket own sunflower oil margarine typically.
I hope that helps!
not what a good brioche looks like inside
No
yes
Shouldn't brioche have the eggs? 👎
Technically yes. But I care about you, and your family, so I've decided to give up my eggs so that you and everyone else on this planet have a better chance at saving the earth.
I have a proposal, what's your favourite dish? I'll make it vegan, make a video about it, and then you can make it and see if it's good.
I hope you have a nice day and give this brioche a go, it is really good and I try all my recipes out on non-vegans so I'm sure you'll like it.
@@ChaoticFood really interesting! I'd assumed the recipe would have chickpea water or something but if the plant milk cuts the mustard then that's top custard
I did actually start off using aquafaba for the brioche, but it really didn't add anything. For brioche the egg mostly just adds that richness to it. And it's difficult right now to mimic.
But just using the butter and sugar is still just as good. It's delicious lol. Absolutely adore it.
