I really just want to say thank you for the FREE patterns! Patterns used to cost so little which and now they are expensive. Could be why sewing is a dying art. I love making my own things to save money, but after you factor in fabric, patterns, and other materials....its almost just not worth it. So I just wanted to say how much I appreciate that you share your art with other crafters. Much love to you
I know exactly what you mean! Especially swimwear materials are so expensive. Sewing has transitioned more into a hobby than a necessity/way to save money. I wish it wasn't that way!

Would anyone know how to prevent the lining fabric from rolling out? Usually, when I make a reversible swimsuit, the lining doesn't match the primary material.
If you are not making a reversible suit you can sew the elastic on the outside of the lining, fold it and then topstitch it. She has some videos on how to sew suits that are not reversible. Good luck!!
Part of this is the nature of reversibles, so it's not entirely avoidable. However, I've found that with perfect elastic application it nearly eliminates the problem! If you haven't watched my elastic playlist I'd recommend that, and practice practice practice!
The 1 inch elastic ...does that have to be swimwear elastic ...and when you say straight stitch ...is not a stretch straight stitch ,,?

What sewing machine do u use?
I have a Pfaff Ambition 620 and a Babylock Evolution!
What is the elastic attachment on your machine?

What kind of fabric you are using?
They're both nylon spandex blends, the hot pink is a matte nylon spandex and the bubblegum pink is ribbed nylon spandex. Both are from Blue Moon Fabrics and if you use code EDGEWATERAVE with them you get a discount!
