Dude watching some of those duels is actually so painful... Just how sometimes people make 1 turn last like 5 minutes just making an invincible combo and prevent the other player from doing anything. I feel like Yugioh is not a casual friendly game anymore, but still good to see people try and actually have fun with it. I hope someday I can have a dark magician deck IRL, still deciding on how I want to make it, pure or branded, which suport cards out of the archtype... Dark Magician forever!

@@ailtonpassos9584 Eles realmente precisam dar uma mudada no extra deck, talvez 5 cartas no máximo la pra diminuir os combos, pq pelo amor de deus, ficar uns 8 min esperando o cara montar a board inteira dele é uma desgraça
The Swordsoul duel was fun to watch, I feel DM is just a timeless classic! Would love to see some new decks though or updates to some of your older decklists, maybe even a deck for the upcoming Ritual event 🤞

One thing I like about pure dark magician (if you truly keep to its cards along with DMG) is that it reflects Yugi's strategy from the anime perfectly. It's a bit slow, but its also built in a way for you to draw whatever card you want, when you want it, so its like the best top decking deck in the game. I'm actually impressed how well it kept to that theme. That said, most people don't want to bother with the other cards too much, but they have their uses. Also thanks to this video, I know now upstart goblin isn't restricted, I didn't even bother checking it. I absolutely need to get a playset of those and start getting them into my decks
Honestly Dm Deck can do pretty long combo, much longer than pendulum link. But 2 problem, ezy interrupt and if u didn't drew the card the for alternative yet specific combo for otk or 1st turn Wall combo, if ur lucky the combo is shorter if ur not keep making until either brick or achieve the endboard. But this can only achieve if the normal handtrap staple is not include in the play. Otherwise just stick to simplified version.
@@arifsalahudin6673 I appreciate the input, but I wasn't commenting on the viability of the deck, I was strictly talking about the design of it and how it conforms cleverly with the anime. Also if you make it pure, you should very rarely brick. Get interrupted? Definitely, but bricking is kinda rare.
@@Ravenleaf182 sorry for missunderstood that. Well, it's gonna be bricky if the core play around is dark magic veiler + the dark magician. But the pros, since the dark magician is soft once per turn, if it's reborn, it''ll just keep drawing and instantly able to use trap after set. With luck probably could draw 9~11 in 1 turn, That's without with draw spell like chicken game, upstart gob. Plus the combo allow ss more monster that could improve endboard if it doesn't brick.
@@arifsalahudin6673 I mean not for nothing, but I don't think my dark magician deck has bricked more than a couple times ever since I played it, but my build isn't normal since I keep it pure. What is dark magic veiler? I have to look that up

Yo, do an Armed Dragon or Pure Gusto deck next, they are two decks that are severely underated, They need some more love i thing :)

Hey Atem, since you’re the Pharaoh and all, any sub-engines you’d recommend running with DM? Been struggling to climb lately, wondering if you have any suggestions. Love your vids man!
Kashtira is hands down the best I've found to run with Dark Magician and trust me I tried just about everything before I found that out lol. I've been playing for a little over 3 months and just hit diamond with my DM/Kashtira deck.
Just curious, Have you experimented with knight of dragon magic yet?

I'm really wondering what you'd be capable of with a Kaiju deck or an armed dragon deck.
I just recently hit mid diamond with pure kaiju. With a few more support cards I can go on a master 1 run with them. So he should be able to do it. His main two problems are gonna be Runnick and maybe Lab. But other than that, he’ll be gtg.

@@therotten9741 Whats up! Just seeing this comment. I’m currently D2 rn. But i plan to make master before the deadline and drop a video of highlights and an official deck list. The best type that i was able to build is a Spell heavy 8 Axis build. But I should have a couple of highlights using the waterfront field spell.

The sowrd soul player cost himeself the game when her returned his baron to extra deck
He could have attacked the Darck Magician dragon knight
And when you try to summon it again by eternal soul you negate that and gg you had no plays next turn cuz he will negate one of your two palys unless you tricked him to negate and them summon quanatn magician and destroy all his field but he has been rushed

@@fruzzle3352 Bottom right on your screen, normally a circle showing 'Auto', you can toggle 'ON' to have more control for your interruptions or even toggle 'Off' to hide an interruption like Nibiru so your opponent doesnt play around it then toggle back on when you want to interrupt them.
Honestly I feel that all I see in master duel are kash purrly and mikanko I barely get anything outside of those decks and it's not fun I never win against mikanko either
