I really wish Konami would focus on old archtypes as well, I don't mind new ones but there a lot of people that like to play "pure" varients and it would be nice if those decks could get in archetype support and be decent at the very least.
Trust me they would make a lot of money releasing new dark magicians or blue eyes and imagine if they were top tier as they should be DM and BE should always be the top tier decks more money for Konami and easier for new players and old returning players to follow

We don't have actual focused Archfiend deck beside ancient deck like Chess Archfiend/Pandemonium or Horror Archfiend (and Summoned Skull if you want to be specific). We need modern Archfiend supports that synergize with each other to become actual archetype.

I have been trying for ages to get someone to genuinely pop my Dark Magician of Chaos solely because I want to use the combo of him getting destroyed, summoning Illusion of Chaos, and then getting to negate a monster effect with Illusion and resummon Magician. I would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping to see you pull that off but damn these Bystials make it extremely difficult I've given up and gone back to using Branded to stop suffering from Dark Magician getting removed from my GY to Bystials and Kashtira. I really hope to see some Banish recovery support for Dark Magician one day.
Also the effect that allows you to destroy a card on the field is a soft once per turn so he can do it again once illusion of chaos negate has been used. I made a drytron magician deck like this and having at least two magician of chaos on the field is a serious treat!
I love Rituals, and DM Ritual is my favorite variant. I already have the recipe to play the ritual more often (if not brick). I hope Konami create a support for "Chaos Form" or DM ritual strategy.
I love Dark Magician, I went for it as my first Master Duel deck (I'm a new player) because it was the first starter deck that popped out at me and seemed pretty much f2p (good, considering I need to prioritize getting staples with my SR & UR chips) But holy shit can I not play past disruption at all. It feels like unless I can get lucky and bait it out with a spare Preparation of Rites, I'm just gonna lose to a single Ash Blossom
Back in the day, everybody said dragonmaid was the best starter deck, especially after branded came out and it became possible to combine the two without too much investment. Not sure if that's still true.
@@blanktrigger8863 Better than DM at least lol. Swordsoul is definitely the best starter deck atm though, & it's not even close. For one, it's an actual complete rogue deck, just missing ED filler & staples

you are wrong.. I didn't brick but sometimes felt like it's not necessary to summon magician of chaos or thought there are better plays .. so it's the only card i would change if i am playing pure dark magician .. hope that helps

That’s mainly with the sweaty meta decks that are like that. When you play with rouge or mid tier/low tier decks it’s a lot of fun especially with friends. At least in my experience
Hey dude, in the 1st game why you choose to send the field instead of Eternal Soul for Magician's Souls's effect? You can set one ES when activate field, so why don't use that for +1?
Why?? That would honestly be a very frustrating deck to keep up with and win too. For one, they oppose each other. One is Light. The other is Dark. They both have alot of support cards, but only work to their specific deck types. It would be an ideal fantasy if they worked together, but it just wouldn't put even a small dent in todays meta. They are better played as intended. By themselves.

Pd: chaos space second effect will allow you to recover banished magicians of chaos and you can discard drytrons for the cost.

dark magician is such a fun deck to play until you get hit by the ash blossom turn 1, ruining the entire combo, and then getting OTK after
