Slice and Insert an IMPROV quilt block

We made this fun block for the BOM of the Dutch Modern Quilt Guild (www.dutchMQG.nl). Such a fun and quick block to make.
In this video I chat about the Block Of the Month and share a tutorial on how to make this slice and insert block.

Always such vibrant quilts with such a collage of block patterns that always look great together. Under my needle today is a UFO, won't tell you for how long, that I am doing ruler work to quilt. I'm happy with the way it's turning out.

Thank you so much! All blocks are part of the BOM that is hosted by our Dutch MQG. The patterns are available for members only.. The star is the block I designed for the BOM, I will make it available on my blog after the BOM is over somewhere in 2024.

That is my design wall! Love it very much. It is constructed out of wood, Styrofoam and a layer of batting.
