@@Reaper_paragon Ali faced and beat some of the hardest hitting opponents ever including Ron Lyle, Foreman, Cleveland Williams, Oscar Bonavena, etc. To make him out to be nothing but a show-boater is very mistaken. You may enjoy reading what some of the top boxing analysts of Ring magazine and others say about Ali. I don’t know why you have to hate Ali to like Tyson. I have seen Iron Mike say more than once that he believes Ali is the greatest of all time. He is a very good authority

I think he did well. No career is worth one becoming a vegetable. He was 1 or 2 Tyson power punches away from becoming a stain himself, having to be removed in a stretcher from there, and having no further career at all apart from eating from a straw and drooling.

Im no Pro. It feels and visually is....people just didn't know how to deal with close quarter boxing. It had been such a ranged jab jab jab hook for so long that when Mike came in. No one had any idea how the fk to deal with it. There was no one to train against that could resemble his style and help prepare them.
That is not true at all. It said in this video that Evander Holyfield studied his fight with "Bone Crusher" Smith because it showed Tysons flaws and his inability to fight in close because his opponent kept tying up his hands keeping Tyson from landing any clean shots. And we all know that Holyfield ended up whipping Tysons ass.

I am truly a fan of boxing and MMA.. Have been for a very long time... You can like or be a fan of any fighter.. You can love or like / fan anyone.. No worries.. I think likely the biggest lie when it comes to professional boxing is where Mike Tyson generally ranks.. On EVERYONE's best day as a professional fighter. I don't see anyone, including ALi beating Tyson... And, this is with RULES... Throw off the gloves and see just how fast Mike Tyson would turn everyone off.. BTW.. I literally couldn't stand Mike back in the 80's and into the 90's... Took me a good while to get past my personal issues and pay serious attention wothout mind garbage.. Mike Tyson was the absolutely most viscous boxer ever to step into the ring... Will always wonder how things would have gone if Cus didn't die early on...

It’s tough to watch Mike post Rooney, little to no head movement or proper use of Cus’ peekaboo style. Just slugfests hanging his chin out overly reliant on brute power. If he’d fought smart he’d have dominated the HW division another 10 years. But he said in his book he was drinking heavily after Cus passed, tried to quit boxing several times and had lost his killer instinct. The wins kept rolling for awhile but his implosion v Douglas had been coming for a long time.
