I don't think I've ever gotten to know someone else's car so well. Working back through the videos since I'm doing my standalone right now, and, man I'm so happy your car is running again. Thank you so much for documenting this process.
HELLYEAH!!! Been following since the car was white and you got the wheel setup. I beleive it was this channel that exposed me to the a70 platform and swayed me away from s chassis. I picked up a 88 last year and have plans for it. Nice to see something that has a lot of love be kicking strong!!!!
Congrats Luis! Solid build. Way to go it's been a long journey and you're almost done. Just the small stuff to finish up then you'll be on the streets again.
Love that you kept the 7m man I just did everything new under the hood I could going for 600whp got aemv2 and 6262 billlet turbo with some Injector dynamics 1050x so should be fun
She runs! This is so weird of a coincidence but I got my mk3 running too after nine months just yesterday 😄 also still had a few bugs to work with but otherwise everything checks out fine
@18:48, did you use sheilded cable for the Cam & Crank Sensors, number two Did you Ground the Shield on ONE END ONLY (Either Engine block or ecu side) to ensure that there's zero interference? Man that first start and reacion had me grinning so happy to see this thing and hear it start in so long since i've been watching these videos.
Man love to see it. This past December I bought a second mk3 with a 7mgte from copart and just needs a few things to be complete. Can’t wait to drive it since my other mk3 7mge blew a head gasket not even 4000 miles into a completely rebuilt engine because of a bad thermostat. Can’t wait to drive the new one since it’s in a lot better condition overall than my other one and already has hella upgrades.
I went through so much with my first supra but at the end of the day I still love driving these cars because of the smile it puts on my face with the crazy torque and insane 3rd gear.
@@-LFATV I will be using the red one I just got to daily and prolly use my old one as a drift car to have fun on the track. It has a very similar color to yours. I remember being inspired by your car for the paint job a couple years back.
I would disable the clutch-in-cranking requirement as it will mince your crankshaft thrust bearings if you have a clutch with high clamping force because it is applying load on them before you have built oil pressure so its metal on metal
This is so awesome man! Well deserved! You should do an after build video Id like to hear if there's anything you wish you would of known to do in order to avoid some problems and make the build a little easier. Also what was the budget and did you go above it?
Hey man, Is there a way of seeing your spec list other then on Facebook? I am especially interested in your intake manifold, headers and turbo. Much appreciated 🙏
cool video. as always. Do you have tips for rough ideling when cold? or hard to start? (sumemr too) I know sometimes moisture is in the connectors of ignitor and AFM connector , i will use delectic grease carefully . but do you any other tips?
Hi! Thanks for posting these videos. I really enjoy them. I have a 91 5 speed 7mgte that is not running. I’m located in the Bay Area and I have a hard time finding a shop to do a rebuild. You know of any? Do you do rebuilds? Where are you located?
Thank you for watching, unfortunately no i dont, i barely have time for my own car lol but there is a few in california. Top of my head i can think of “sideways performance” but quick search on google
I miss the old house sounding song from back in the day can't really describe it.

How did u get the rpm gauge to work ?
I went full ignition sequential and the rpm gauge stop working
Mine i wired it to ecu
Do you mind letting me know how or where can I find the wire on the stock harness.
I have exactly the same set up as you.
