Getting a work pension won't affect CPP disability, but depending on the pension, getting CPP disability can have an effect on the work pension. Check with your pension administrator. They are supposed to answer questions like this for people paying into the workplace pension.
I am on cpp disability and also private disability from former employers Ltd program. I make a total of 26,000 per yr from these disability payments. I have invested my group rrsp to another insurance company. Can I draw 300$ a month from my private investments without being penalized? Ty
I'm on LTD, and my friend said I can buy ETH, sell to buy BTC and then trade. I can transfer less than 10K without reporting to CRA? However, according to your video. It doesn't matter how much I buy and trade, but if I profit less than $5900, I don't have to report as income?
I am moving to LTD next month, i was told that the insurance company will require me to apply for CPP disability and that amount will be deducted from my benefit. I will be getting $4079 per month, will i still get cpp disability?
The maximum CPP disability for 2021 is $1,413.66. So that is the most that could be deducted from your LTD. Unless you have lots of children, then it is possible more could be deducted.
Thank you, fantastic advise.
David my heart nearly sank during the first few moments of your video. I am happy drawing my rrsp doesn’t affect me negatively.

I cashed in my RRIF for a self directed plan, does this count as income? I did have to pay 30, 000 in taxes

the same is true if you get an inheritance it doesn't effect your cpp-disability as they DO NOT CONSIDER IT AS EARNED INCOME
