    Hi, do you think the bike would be comfortable for someone who's 6 feet tall? I've watched a couple of videos of it and it kind of looks like your legs are scrunched up when riding. I'd like to not have to lift my legs up too close to my torso and be able to have them mostly extended at the bottom part of the pedaling.

      I know exactly what you are talking about! That knee to chest pedaling is not fun. I'm 5'10" but swear I have the legs of a 6 footer (legs long, torso short lol). From my experience, it was fairly comfortable still, but it may have been because I didn't have to do much pedaling as I would on a non-ebike.

    You think I can take this to burning man ?

      I haven't been myself, but I hear there are all kinds of e-rides out there. Just might need to bring a generator if you ride it around a lot so you can charge it.

    Great content and videos as always! I would raise that seat a bit though if you want to have better ride experience but maybe that's just something I am seeing with my mtb glasses 😅

    Hi! Thanks for the video. It does take a while to assemble. To anyone out there reading: I’ve never used an ebike before. Is it fair to assume that if the motor ir running and I hit the breaks it’ll just shut down but the bike will continue to run by inertia? And also, the manual’s got me a little confused, if I’m pedaling, do I just hit the “+” button to activate the motor? I son’t want to land on my face just cuz I didn’t fully grasp how it works. Please enlighten me a little. Thank you!

      Hi. If you squeeze the breaks, it will brake like normal, but also cut any motor power if being used as well. The + and - buttons should adjust the power the motor delivers per rotation of the pedal. So if you want more assistance from the motor, use + button, but if you want more of a workout, use - button.

    Having the only shocks in the stem of the seat is a bit of a limiter. With those knobby tires you'd think it would be more optimized for trail riding.

      I concur...but still, it's better then nothing!

    Do you have any idea if its 750 watts nominal or peak?

    • @ThatsGinterEV
      @ThatsGinterEV  4 місяці тому +1

      I can't confirm, but I'm leaning toward nominal. It was able to carry me up some steep climbs and maintain those 20+mph speeds without pedaling.

    How did you get the front wheel area to line up witht he handle bars?

    • @ThatsGinterEV
      @ThatsGinterEV  6 місяців тому

      Not gonna lie, I had the whole handlebar setup backwards at first, loosened up the handlebar stem bolt and flipped it around and once straight, just tightened it down.
