actually, are you sure? reverse cornerboosts only happen when when the wall is behind you, and i turned around and faced the wall for a neutral conerboost; celeste.ink/wiki/Techniques#Neutral_Reverse_Cornerboost however, i dont know how accurate this site is. edit: this also seems to be backed up by every instance i found in celestecord, i will change stuff back for now
@@nibblz2546 that wiki is pretty accurate on it. you don't lose any speed immediately from doing it but can't turn around without wallboosting - this actually makes neutral reverse cornerboosts slower unless you can cancel the wallboost early - e.g. another cb or a dash. A normal rcb would lose 40 speed but because you can hold in your direction the reduced friction saves way more speed overall
I know :) If you read the description you would know that I know, considering I showed 2 types of places where it is documented, and I also said that I read about it in Celestecord (which was pretty extensive).
thats definitely a reverse cornerboost!! idk the specifics of those but it seems you got a particularly low one
Yeah i think the height just depends on how long you hold jump, but it got a lot harder for me when i was trying to time that, idk
This is exactly why I will never seriously speedrun this game
Fair, the speedrun is still fun though, but i could never pull off these crazy tricks in a run.
@@nibblz2546 my best time is 45 mins and I am not willing to devote my entire life to get it any lower lmao
@@hatrian 😆
boi what the hell
theres nothing neutral here, it's a reverse cornerboost
thanks i will change stuff

@@bredbeanqueen2654 Nice! Thank you:)
Neutral rcb is nothing new
