They pulled that infotainment system right out of 2014. They even put new tech in it but left the interior? My guess is they are pushing buyers to the amg gt c

Paul P This car is the legal real king. But you are right.
2 things: 1> If you have Apple Car play the manufacturers system means much less since Google maps kicks ass over Merc BMW etc.. and 2> Because it is the old system for $ 199 you can upgrade the system to play DVD MOVIES WHILE IN MOTION- great to watch the 3 Stooges or your favorite movie on your drive. AND if you have the Burmester system- all in 5.1 Dolby glory!! Do that in your new E class or BMW 8 series..
Beautiful the dash is perfect,some say old fashioned I don’t think so far far better than these mobile ipad type dash that’s the rage at the moment I mean a touch pad while your driving you have to be nuts.
4-matic AWD? I don't think so, they never put 4 wheel drive in the SL.

4 Matic all wheel drive on an SL ???? 😅
I currently have a E500 Convertible from 2015 and I miss more sound. Does this one have more sound? It's nearly the same engine, but with little less horsepower, also 4,7L V8 Biturbo, but my car doesn't have the sport +.
Does the sound change in sport+ ?

To harsh- different mission- AMG GT is sports only looks fantastic- SL is more crusier and not as racy

In USA I think they have sold under 300 so far- lots of deals to be had but the car really should have the ABC if you are buying the 450 or the 550- transforms it from just a car to a "mini S " as he said

Beautiful car, such a shame the interior is so outdated compared to other cheaper Mercedes-Benz models. As a top luxury roadster it should feel premium inside. The size of the screen is a joke and it just looks so cheap along with the buttons. It desperately desperately needs a new update asap!!

Old engine, old gear, old interior, old car ....
Its old inside , nothing new
I have one and my seat is the most uncomfortable seat in the world , its so hard i cant live with it and as for you saying its a smooth ride then you clearly dont have 1 because there not and they are also very noisy inside and the flappy padels are fake and sports+ mode is exactly the same as E mode , i wont buy another mercedes ill go for an audi next car

Stick to cycling marky its not as good as you think , my seat is from the mercedes agony range and it cost me nearly 60 grand , im selling it if you want to buy it
