There wasn’t one announcement that I thought was a miss, so pleased they look to showing real announcements instead of blue sky. My favorite were all the ones around Disney Cruise Line, we have a few already booked and want to try these ones now.
I really agree. I think the announcements top to bottom were really great, and I'm so excited for all the new lands. Personally, I would have loved more details about the rides and fewer musical performances, but I bet that presentation was amazing to see in person. Now, I still don't know how I feel about Cars replacing Rivers of America - I'm really torn about that specific placement. But I do think Disney is giving its fans plenty to look forward to.
I 100% agree with you. The Villains Land looks incredible, but I was really blown away by the Monsters, Inc announcement. I had no clue that was coming.
Sure Tokyo is getting a ride, but by the looks of the franchise they’ve just been marketing it off of things from the sequel, which was a disgrace to what the first film meant to bring to audiences so I’m not sure if a full land would make sense out of a sugar rush land
Ages ago when my wife and I did Sum of All Thrills it was a neat little attraction for Epcot because at the time Epcot was largely devoid of customers other than people drinking around the world or what not, I don't see how this will work in a park that is quite a bit more crowded, the only way I can see this working at all is if they make it a premium add on cost like the light saber building which I unfortunately think is exactly what they're going to do. As for where Avatar land is, unless they take over that parking/office area behind Radiator Springs and Guardians, the only place I see them doing it is Grizzly River/Peak area which is unfortunate as it is one of the more relaxing parts of the park, but they essentially get rid of one water ride to replace it with "more IP"... and considering that the plan is to destroy Rivers of America over at MK for a Radiator Springs clone area, I can honestly see them going this way as well.
I think the concerns about capacity for Stark Flight Lab are definitely well founded. However, it looks like they have a lot more ride vehicles than Sum of All Thrills there. I hope they design it in a way that has a good rider-per-hour number, because having a solid D or C ticket ride to accompany a big new E ticket is a great strategy. And I really hope they don't get rid of the Grizzly River area for Avatar. As much as I'm excited for Avatar, I love that part of the park and would hate to see them get rid of it. The posters on my wall were limited edition large prints, which they don't sell anymore. You may have some luck finding those on eBay if you want the larger version. But Disney Store has a lot of other great EPCOT prints in the same style for other pavilions, including some retired attractions like Horizons and Illuminations.

We shall see… Disney does a great job at themes but their prices in recent years…. Universal on the other hand, I find always hits it out of the park with their rides!
Universal's third theme park that's opening next year in Orlando. It will have lands themed to Universal Monsters, Nintendo, How to Train Your Dragon, and Harry Potter. It looks pretty incredible based on what's been announced so far.
I love the ride system, but the capacity is definitely worth worrying about. I'm hoping they put in enough vehicles to address demand, because having a solid D or C ticket in addition to the E ticket is a really good idea.
@@Guide2WDW yeah it would be cool if they manage to get a lot of folks aboard. Just kinda brought me back to the opening of DCA when they had SO MANY terribly low riders-per-hour attractions. Then they vastly improved. I'd be interested to know where they are placing this physically. Thanks for a great video.

I'm most excited about the villains land. The monsters inc land though was the biggest surprise.
