WHAT! I heard word "Yeti".....Hooray!!! I'm at the 200hp DS turbo, mild port and race cams level in my CFGC Yeti, stock injectors and pump, and it's amazing at about 100hp less than these, so I can only imagine, although I'm all about avoiding lag so happy where I'm at thanks to Darkside and their AWESOME handheld tuning.
Nice,, which yetis and yr have the CFGC engine same as the seat? Also aren’t they available in 4x4 aswell even better off the line and sleeper looking cheers,
@@Rusties844 None, I put one in from a wrecked Q3, virtually identical to my prior CFHC 140. Swapped as cheaper than a full rebuild on a 10 year old motor. The 170 TDI Yeti is basically the same thing, never released in Australia. The diesels are generally Haldex V AWD yes.

Crazy how much work you need to do to make these figures on a 4cyl diesel
I’ve got a 2012 seat Leon fr 170, it’s been mapped but no idea what it’s pushing. I’ve always toyed with the idea of making it 300 odd.
Same here, 270bhp with turbo and cp3 fuel pump is easily do able, talking cams and head work after that mark 👍🏻 and mapping each process if done separate 💰
Engine transplant sounds expensive, but it should make for good content. :)

One thing I've often wondered with changing the turbo on a diesel for bigger power is do you lose that instant bottom end torque?
Sure do, but the latest gen turbo's close the gap.

What mods and bhp is the scirocco doing?
It's about 320bhp and converted to AWD
Potentially getting raffled off soon.
I think its a bit too much for fwd only, but it looked to drive ok. 200bhp with ~300lbft seems more sensible even with the LSD.
Without a LSD I agree but with the diffs installed they are very drievable even in damp conditions.
Definitely different to drive with the wave track diff in .. the traction light never comes on now .... well only in the wet... 😂

It's way quicker than a cupra, plus I get high MPG when I'm not at warp speed!! 😊
By the time you spunk all the money to get that done you'd be as well just buying a MK2 Cupra Leon or Ed30 and stage 1/2 it.
Ibizas will pull car lengths on them no problem 😂
