One of his most intriguing pieces. I imagine he found it so difficult to make a band arrangement that he never recorded it with the Peppers but it is very beautiful and intricate. Brilliant performances, by the way :)
I saw this played as a four piece (piano, bass, guitar, and clarinet) tonight by the Dime Notes and it was spectacular, the guitar-bass really gave it a special vibe.
Thanks! We've just put out a Complete Morton Project record, and there will soon be a new Dime Notes album. Have a look lejazzetal.com/shop/the-complete-morton-project/
One of my favorites!
A very poetic, alluring, memorable version! I'll be sharing it around, too.

Congrats, brilliant, we love it. Nikos&Anja
Excellent arrangement, don't think I've ever heard with clarinet.
Ten out of ten chaps - beautiful performance

Felicitaciones, buen dúo.

Loved it - very atmospheric - I play it a shade slower - at a slower tempo could be an ideal track for an Argentinian Tango
