I will do my best to make a long story short, as a small kid born in 1962, I was amazed how little people cares or respected a currency we know as the penny. I found them everywhere completely abandoned and in abundance, even on the ground. So around the age of seven and fascinated with any penny older than 1959, I spent my every Saturday collecting of the 25 coke bottles needed for the $.02 recycling to fund a roll of pennies from a corner market to look for the elusive wheat back penny. Then one day my whole perspective changed, And that was when the "1969" San Francisco double die obverse penny was discovered. Pennies I know, Thanks to you I know more. It is so nice to hear from an actual PCGS grader that can explain his art So clearly not only in a scientific layman term, but also do it with a narrative voice that is pleasing and sincere. Thank you, Kenneth Clarke.

I have been dabbling with coin collecting on and off for years, but I find myself holding on to entirely too many newer coins and most of my 10,000 wheat pennies of various years seem to be worth only face value. How do I choose some of these to be graded?
And you should collect the grading books from each and every year Coin Grading has been around , as there might be extra Information in the older book year by year that gets lost making the coin less or more valuable and as a Gradder you should have that Information . Just Saying :) QC
Just picking the gems out of a roll of standing liberty quarters for 20 bucks a piece lol Also getting flowing hair cents which were probably in the fair to very good range for a buck apiece man that sounds amazing even though a buck was a bit more back then still what's that like five six bucks today
I have been listening to you and I have three quarters here with the Liberty Bell you talked about a 1951 a 1949 and a 1962 that I have bad eyes and I can see all the lines all the way across so there was something
