    This is what i love about art. I'm trying to do an underwater digital painting, so even though the tools are different, I can apply the same techniques.

    Thank you for having the free video! I want so much to learn! I live in the North of Ontario, Canada. I find art has been healing and life changing. So far I work with whatever I can find and learn from where I can. I have been struggling with underwater scenes (I want it to reflect what I have in my mind but have not yet aquired all the skills) Your free videos helped, I wish I could have watched the full series. All the best to your pursuit of co-creating! :) I like how you twirl your paint brush, I only know how to do that with a sword. ;)

    Hello Joe, I'm just getting back into painting and I'm gonna be using acrylics. I love your lessons and would like to start near the beginning. Do you have any suggestions on which videos are good to start? My interests are water and mountain scenes but water is probably my favorite. Thanks

    Hi ,you are my inspiration bro!what colors do you use for the waves?the light green is blue -green and white...the shadow waves are the same colors with less white?

    Hey Joe! You mentioned horizon line and how to make images natural. Where/how would you render the horizon line if the viewer were to be looking up at a person coming up for air? (not directly above, but roughly 3/4). Would the line be towards the middle still to create distance or ocean like water? I find it tricky since you wouldn't be seeing any ocean bottom. thanks for sharing all your know-how!

    looking for your advice and help I have a mirror business that I'm in the process I'm getting off the ground just looking for some advice I watch a lot of your work everything is amazing keeps me motivated

    • @dominicjones7790
      @dominicjones7790 9 років тому +1

      mural business and what do you usually charge to do mirrors with people do you go by the square foot or hourly or straight flat rate prices just looking for advice have lots of people wanting things done just need to do it right from one mural artist to another keep up the good work

    • @muraljoe
      @muraljoe  9 років тому

      +Dominic Jones Hey there Dominic! The way I did it was by starting as a painter on a paint contracting crew and then becoming self employed and gradually increasing my prices from the starting point of a local paint contractor rate. Don't get too concerned with what other muralists charge. You have to feel that out according to your own local economy. Sometimes higher prices look better than low prices. I do think consistency helps your credibility though.
