This video was a fun one to make! We are still learning when it comes to videography so hope we are improving as we go.... but sorry about another intro in the car!! We'll stop doing that 😆.... the car noise is too loud & ends up making our voices too soft. But I hope you enjoy this video! And I hope you make it to the end to see the adorable pair of White-breasted Woodswallows grooming each other. They are the CUTEST!!!
What an awesome place. Loved the old Hall, a pity it was left to deteriorate. Some wonderful birds, they are beautiful. You capture them so well. 8:36 the White Breasted Woodswallow, best capture of these two interacting. Good to see a Shingle Back Lizard. Kill those European Carps, such destructive fish! The Rainbow Bee Eater, what gorgeous plumage. A great successful bird weekend. 👍🏼🤗🙏🏼
Yes it's really a shame about that old hall! It would make great accommodation for bird watchers!! 😀 The birds were gorgeous and I love Shinglebacks!! The Carp are very destructive and they grow to huge sizes too!! Not sure what can be done about them??! Really interesting place and as you guys are into history & tours, you'd really like Lake Boga and Goschen! Quite fascinating!! (but not in hot weather!!)
Loved seeing the wood swallows but loved the creepy abandoned hall with the haunting piano music even more. Intro in the car is fine by me - the journey is part of the adventure. Have a nice Xmas.
Thanks so much for the feedback!! Wasn't the abandoned hall great!! I loved that bit... wanted to make it kind of spooky! Turns out microbats sometimes live in there too... wish I'd seen them!!! 😀
Except for the intro the video was extremely enjoyable. The birds and the scenery were all beautiful. The carp you spotted rolling in the shallows move into those areas to spawn. We get the same behavior here in the states during the late spring and early summer when the water temperature gets right. Please keep up the fine videos, I'm quite enjoying my trip around Australia with the two of you.
Thanks! Was the problem with the intro, us in the car talking?? (as I'm not going to do that again!!) or something else? I want to improve and happy to hear constructive criticism 🙂 I did think maybe the carp were spawning! They were all flipping about in there
The engine and road noise were picked up by the mic over your voice. The basics of sound causes constant steady noise to be picked up over the intermittent sound created by talking.
@@guyjackson4143 ah cool! yeah tried to fix it when putting it together (sounded okay before publishing and then it went quiet again on youtube). Not doing that again! Thanks for the feedback & if you think I need to change anything else (get rid of the logo, first titles.. whatever... I'm happy to change & grow). 🙂
Everything else that your doing is finding your style! With time you will figure out what fits for the two of you. I don't do video, but I know what I like and I see each of your videos getting better.
@@naturephotographychallenge personally I thought it was fine, didn't even notice anything wrong, could still hear you. I love your intros in the car when you explain what you're doing! Makes me feel like i'm coming along with you. So please don't stop doing them!
Welcome to our channel! 😊 I love knowing you are watching all the way from Japan!! Thank you for subscribing & I hope you will find lots of secret spots to go bird watching where you are! 🦜

Birding in Australia would be awesome birds are so different compared with our birds here in Florida. Have fun birding 👍
I've been amazed at all the birds I've never seen before! I had no idea before this year just how many different species there are! 😃
I watched your video from Japan (^^)/
Bird watching is good!
But even if I want to do it, I can't do it because I don't know the secret spot (*_*;

The carp are having the best time destroying our native aquatic ecosystems 😫
yes I was in two minds about putting that footage in the video but it was interesting to see
