Returning to Gears of War in 2024

Gears of War 6 will be releasing soon (I hope!) so I decided to replay the Gears series. The first Gears of War was, and is still, a landmark game for Microsoft. It left a massive impression on me when I played the hell out of it back in the late 2000's, and I wanted to go over some of the reasons why it had such an impact, and how it shaped gaming for years to come.

Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) had a similar reload mini game. When you blaster overheated you can press x at the right time to temporarily fire the gun without overheating.
