I haven't seen a crowd react like this in a bar since the Attitude Era days! Wow!!!!

Unfortunately, that wasn't a thing during the Attitude Era nor was UA-cam or any other platform the internet could offer. Second, there's been plenty of big pops and reactions that we can see from recent eras that have nothing to do with the Attitude Era. some people on the internet really claim that the cody run has failed... then i see this video ... its working... roman was always inevitably going to comeback, the rock said the next day "this is a new beginning we have more stories to tell" we could see it from a mile away... it was going to be the knightfall protocol storyline, bruce wayne has his back broken, he goes away to heal up and leaves the role of batman to a dude he knows , that dude ends up being very violent and dictator like batman, so batman returns to retake the thrown and gotham, roman goes away, solo takes over, goes on a 4 month power trip forcing roman to return , bloodline og vs temu bloodline
Considering that I love Batman and I love WWE so I definitely love your comparison.
The best part of this whole story line is the whole thing was about a guy who wasn't even there. And Cody and Solo took the reigns, no pun intended, fuck it pun intended it was a good one, and they ran with it. And they made it relevant to the point that they didn't overshadow the guy who wasn't even there. If that doesn't tell you that Solo Sikoa could very well be the next face of the WWE, then I don't know what will.
Cody's run as champion hasn't set the world on fire. Fans were only into him being the one to dethrone Roman because he beat everyone. Cody was only relevant because of Roman, the moment Roman dropped the title and left the same fickle fans immediately wanted him back. Cody definitely has appeal, but he's not Roman. And the story a lot of us have been waiting to see never got to happen because the story had to be finished. Let's be honest it really didn't, but again, fickle fans.
It’s not that Cody run failed so much as Cody was never ever ever going to be as big as Roman. Cody’s main thing was his story to become champion, it was always gonna be a bit boring when he got it. But he’s done an okay job at holding the fort this year.

It was perfect. Roman came in handled business eyed Cody, and then left. Cody stared at Roman the entire time because he was shocked. Solo was an afterthought. Roman and Cody had that moment of mutual acknowledgement, Roman then points to his shirt and no words were said, but it was spelled out perfectly; Roman was all "I'm here to handle some business, but you and me, we are not done yet. I'm coming back for my title." and Cody had that look of "Whenever and wherever you want, Roman."
