It will take a lot of practice. You need to visualize not messing up important pieces while transporting the important sticker to the swapping position
I'm not great at solving cubes. I can do it, but I'm far from the best. I still only know the beginner's layer by layer method and it usually takes me about 90 seconds. I'm still thinking about learning this method, mostly because it seems like a lot less specific moves to learn. I understand the basic concept: You stay on one face, and put one piece in one spot and do an algorithm (which I'll need to memorize) which will swap pieces, and then leads you to the next piece, and so on and so on. Then you use the letters to help remember where the piece is so you know what piece you're moving into that slot next. What I don't get is how you determine which letter to use when you see one? For example, the first pair was IP. Why wasn't it IJ or DJ or DP? Basically, how do I know which will end up in the buffer? From there it just seems to be memorizing the chains of edges and corners to fix, knowing how to set them up without disturbing any pieces that get affected when swapping the buffer (such as the B and C corner pieces when swapping the edges), and just memorizing the algorithms.
Good questions. So first regarding edge letters, you need to track which STICKERS go where. For my example, I wanted to move the sticker in I to the sticker in P. For corner set up moves, you just need to practice. B is R2, and C is F2 D btw
I use the yuxin little magic for videos because it's super quiet and easy turn smoothly but I use the yulong M for speed solving because it's more stable and magnetic. Just got a 13.6 ao5 with it
You need to move the pieces into the swapping position, which is D for edges and V for corners. If you don't do set-up moves, then you'll never touch those pieces so…
I have glasses, and I'm blind without them, and when I'm 18 I'm gonna get laser-eye surgery, so incase it goes bad and I'm blind FOREVER, I wanna still be able 2 solve it
I tend to always do solves with green in front and white on top so I have all the corner and edge positions the same. Otherwise you can just use the center pieces to determine the location of pieces
you can make funny stories out of the letter pairs to make it better to remember. you can put more than 1 story inside each list of pairs (edges/corners). for example... *these are for edges (remember as audio):* *FO WF UA RV GR FL* could be: FOrks WooF on United Airplanes. RaVing GuitaRists are FLooding the street *IS CK AR HS UF DU HU CD* could be: IS the coCKpit ARm a HoSe? UFo DUos HUmiliate CDs *these are for corners (remember as images, or stories, or basically how something does something, idk...):* *BV MO TV IM* could be: a BeaVer MOves a TV like I'M (like i am) *UP NB TI BP U* could be: UPgrade the NBA players' TIes. BackPack Urself. (the first part --> imagine their ties being normal and upgrading them to something like... metal ties i guess, btw nba players are basically basketball players) (the second part --> someone putting themselves inside a backpack, not sure how but there you go.) i wasted like 1 hour on this comment and its 3:38 AM but heres some tips to end this nightmare: *1.* audio is memorized quick, but also forgotten quick, and images stay for a bit longer therefore you should probably: memorize corners first as images/imaginary "videos" and edges 2nd as audio. For the execution, execute edges first and then corners for pretty obvious reasons so basically... CORNERS->EDGES->EDGES->CORNERS ↑ images↑ ↑audio↑│↑audio↑ ↑images↑ ↑↑↑memo↑↑↑ │↑↑↑execution &recall↑↑↑ *2.* the parity! you do the parity alg in between corners and edges. but only if you remembered an odd number of corners & edges (they will never be odd/even or even/odd or so, its both same, always) so when you do edges, you do the parity alg (well if you remember an odd number of E+C) and then you can do corners i used a letter pair generator to generate the letter pairs i used. you can practice memo in there ( tobip.ch/letter_pair_generator/ ) and used a bit of letter pairs from the speedcubing wiki which you can use for your letter pair word finding ( www.speedsolving.com/wiki/index.php/List_of_letter_pairs ) oh my god this is so long! im sorry to all who read this all....
Heres a tip : don’t do it blindfolded first try try to see if u can solve it while seeing.

I already can
I can
That’s exactly what I was gonna do
I know.
Starting my 3BLD journey now! This video is actually the shortest and easiest to follow from all the ones I've watched
I can solve a 3x3 already but I kinda just want to look cool in front of my zoom class
Do it for the flex😎
me 2 dude
@@Learn_The_Cube lol I’m doing it fo y schools talent show now thanks
@@CoriLane3060 that's awesome, glad I could help
Haha me too man
16:20 for the corners there is a maximum of 2 moves for the setup, meaning you only need to do a maximum of 2 moves (E.g. R2, F) to set it up
Yea ik
Thanks man Learned quick your UA-cam channels are great
I cant understand anything. still its my 3rd time trying 3bld
u r awesome u replies to almost everyone amazing dude
Dope video and short 🔥
6:16 what’s the scramble for this one
R2 and then do the algorithm
0:15 all that money is a major flex bro
💯🥶💸
How did you memorize the set up moves for edges? Any tips?
I just made up the alg intuitively. I have a tutorial on set up moves though
thanks now i can go flex more than ever
How do you know what setup moves to do?
It will take a lot of practice. You need to visualize not messing up important pieces while transporting the important sticker to the swapping position
When doing corners, how do you know which of the three possible colors will be in the buffer position? Any tips? 6:40
Great intro!!
Thx
What is the swapping algorithm
is there a way to help remember algorithms?
How do you know what color is at every block after proceeding further ?
You got some talent man. Nice 👍👍
If you do set up and reverse set up move correctly, all pieces except the buffer and chosen piece should stay still
How do you know when to do the ra perm your BLINDFOLDED??
When you finish the first half (either edges or corners
And also only in odd-numbered solve
Oh ok.
Was that old ponchmann method?
So I’m confused on how to put the corners in because I thought it was R2 or F2
Great intro bro..
subtle flex with monopoly money at beginning be like:
wut
So while you’re memorizing, how do you know once you’re finished with all the edge swapping/corner swapping
Very good question. My strategy is to put a finger on it as you memorize. That way it's easy to see which edges or corners are not touched
Sometimes pieces are already solved or flipped so there's no set number of letters
@@Learn_The_Cube What if you run out of fingers -_-
LaHorse theoretically you shouldn't
@@Learn_The_Cube How do i run out then -_- plus the placement makes it hard to look for pieces without breaking your hand lol. Ill try that tho thanks
While solving the last layer how do you know weather the colour is completed before doing prime any tip
Not sure what you mean, there's no last layer algs in this
I’m begin cubing like 6 months and i know how to solve it like around 30-40 seconds it is possible for me to solve bld?
Bld just has to do with your ability to memorize short term and move the cube without looking. If you think you're easy then do it.
Awesomeee videoo dudee
Thx 🅱️

Another question: what if the chain of edges is solved before all of the edges are solved
Can you do a 4bld tutorial
That's a ton harder and I never learned
Understandable
thank you very much now i can solve the cube 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

whats your main
Just a yj yulong
what letters are the corrners
Corners and edges follow the same pattern of letters. Google speffz lettering scheme

What do you do if the buffer piece is solved?
Start on a random piece. If you do things correctly the buffer should resolve itself
