Yep you are our encyclopedia! Ummmhmmm I heard that...you said do the math 🤔 😂 And did I hear MOLASSES? Where are my pancakes? 🤔 You know I’m just teasing!! Love love your videos. We learn so much with your commercials 😂♥️♥️♥️ (just watched a 27 minute ad by the way lol) Battle of the stripes. Alright now!
Rob's got some great gardening videos that he puts out. I've gardened most of my life, and he educates me with all of the gardening tips that he shares.
Lawn looks absolutely amazing bro. Spoon feeding is the way to go. Striping what's that. Do people really do that on their lawns 🤔🤣 #stripermanapproved
I just put down my second application of Anuew yesterday. As soon as it wore off (after 3 weeks) I noticed some Poa Annua coming right back. The first app dinged it some, hopefully this second app really puts a hurting on it. We'll see.
Interesting to see and hear your progress with Annua. I've been targeting Triv because I have very little Poa and used Poa Constrictor to clean up what I had. Keep me posted bro! 🤙🏾🌱
I got insane amount of poa triv and annua this year my fescue lawn is goin on its second year I unleashed hell when I killed off and turned over the soil....now the battle begins ...
Hey Rob, New subscriber. Enjoying your content. Live in upstate NY - cool season turf with a blend of KBG/annual rye and reed fescue. Always prided myself on a nice healthy green lawn but can’t say that this season. I had a soil test and results show deficiency in potassium. My root system is weak and areas of my lawn pulls up very easily. Also experienced some lawn fungus issues ( applied fungicide). My last fertilizer application was on June 15th and I do have an irrigation system. Any suggestions for treating my lawn to get the root system healthy again. I would love to send you some pictures. Your grass looks awesome!
The best tool is the one you have. I respect your opinion, but there's no single answer for every soil type and scenario. Thanks for your input though 🤙🏾🌱
Teaching people is cool. People learning is cool. But you must not mislead. Spoon feeding is not putting a 1/4Lb of "FERTILIZER" down, it is dropping .25/Lb/K of NITROGEN. *N*, not the product or carrier.
Also, check out this article from Iowa State. Pay special attention to the “Spoon Feeding Program” Section. I always love to learn 😁🤙🏾🌱 archive.lib.msu.edu/tic/tgtre/article/2001mar7.pdf
@@TurfTherapy Yes ... "nitrogen (N) is applied in the range of 0.10-0.25 lb. per 1000 sq. ft. every one or two weeks" ... is what I am referring to. Not fertilizer. Trust me, I am not trying to argue, only clarify language. (A quarter pound of N when using a 10-10-10 is 2.5Lbs of product (fertilizer) / 1000)
Gary, I'm not sure how that statement is misleading to the viewers. Yes, nitrogen drives the bus and is used as the standard for feeding because of this, but it is only One of Three macronutrients. The logic that Spoon Feeding is only applicable to only one of the Macronutrients doesn't hold weight with me. By that logic, any application within the same range of .010-.25lb of P or K would be referred to as what type of feeding? I've seen soil test recommend getting out at least 3lbs of K in a year. If I applied that in 1lb increments versus 1/4lb increments, how would you describe the two feeding methods? I do believe that the practice of Spoon Feeding is, however, more so an approach of light, frequent feedings relative to a Soil test. That, my friend, is the true intent of this technique. I hear ya loud in clear on words mattering which is why the word fertilizer captures all three Macro Nutrients.

Roll Fluazifop and Triclopyr together with a surfactant.
