By the way, this is a sprite animator sidenote, Sonic's sprites changed between Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 sprites, you can notice by the color palettes in the death animation and in the Marble Zone boss when Sonic tries to stop in the air, but I can take it, it's Sonic :)

1:40 For anyone who's looking for that Damn Fourth Chaos Emerald for Shadow, it's on the right hand side of the ceiling.
How this could turn into a possible-to-beat set of boss fights:
1: The platforms regenerate after some time and drift about, making the fight about seizing the moment of opportunity before it fleets away again
2: There are now 6 platforms in a hexagon shape, and Robotnik, sitting in the center, has 2 to 4 blasters at a time (randomized) and Sonic has to hit the hextants with no blasters on them while also avoiding the fire blasts themselves.
3: Robotnik will wait a fraction of a second before pulling the block out, giving you just enough time to tap "jump" and escape a bottomless doom. After he pulls the block out, he'll fling it upwards, making another thing for you to dodge, and then he'll go to a randomly chosen place with a missing block and look up to see how damaged you are. This is when you have to hit him. When only 2 blocks remain, 3 to 5 blocks will fall from the sky (remember when Robotnik threw them upwards?) and land in randomized places, giving you a bit more to stand on.
4: The ceiling will fall in pieces, each piece rumbling a bit before it falls. The final piece to fall will stop just short of crushing you, and then they will all rise. You will have to endure this 3 times, and then 2 homing missiles will be fired at you, working similarly to those of the Mad Dummy in Undertale. Rinse and repeat 6 times in total, and then you win.
5: The mines would no longer have spikes (they would be prohibitively expensive at that size) and you would have to bounce on them to land hits on Robotnik.
6: The opened piston pillar thing would open on the other side as well, and there would be an intense platforming segment that you would have to complete quickly or you would be engulfed by the explosions, similar to the original Labyrinth Zone boss but harder.
Good idea. Eggman can be reckless, too.

I love how Sonic does that little duck-taunt thing at 0:45! That is such a player-controlled thing to do! X^D I know I used to totally goof around during boss fights like that.

@@yoshifan3611 I thought that refers to specifically pushing the crouch button repeatedly while _standing on the spot where you killed another player in a multiplayer game_ (typically done in shooters).
@@ChaosRayZero Nah, crouching repediatly = tee-bagging.
1. 0:18, you can see it floating in the water in the background. 2. At 0:36, you can see it in the background on top of the pillar above the first lava pit. 3. At 1:13, you can see it coming out of the second rock Robotnik breaks (one of the harder ones, as it's hidden among the rubble. 4 1:39, you can see it in the roof that crushes Sonic. 5. Another hard one, but at 1:51, you can see it under the first see saw. 6. At 2:17, you'll see it in the third cylinder as it falls (the easiest one to find of the six).

Ha ha, but really I know were they are scattered. The chaos emerald (blue) was in the river of green hill, the second one for #2 (yellow) was on a pillar in the background, the third (pink) one could be found when egg man is destroying the second block when he sneaks past sonic, the fourth (green) is incased in the ceiling when sonic springs the trap and the ceiling falls on him, the fifth (red) can be found under one of the metal bars, the last chaos emerald (white) can be found in one of the crushers the push down from the ceiling.

Let's just hope Robotnik doesn't see this video before Sonic...

Solutions:
1. Use super form
2. Bring fire shield into fight
3. Use BOMBS!
4. Ignore trap
5. Use super form like the first solution but this time combine debug mode
6. STAY OUT OF THE CENTER!
It does in the iOS edition. Also on solution 3 I meant to say robotnick detector but morphing just won't shut up. Reason 4 is by jumping over the trap and continuing to the right to find the real capsule. Solution 5 is only on IOS because the IOS version's secret screen allows you to set the emeralds to 7 and a cheat gives you all of em. Solution 6 i was not specific. When I said stay out of the center I meant stay out of the center of the piston things!

1: Get all 8 hits before the platform breaks. Try the GBA port for best results.
2: Hit him before he activates the second fire blaster, while stockpiling on rings.
3: Be aware of the platforms used.
4: Don't trigger the trap.
5: Impossible.
6. Stand on the right side of the arena
number 5: get into multiplayer co-op and use the combined strength of both players to flick the mines up
