Tips for some of the bosses:
It's possible to get on top off the totem poles in the Aquatic Ruin boss fight (Boss #4). The only thing you need to watch out for is Robotnik's hammer, and it's easy to dodge.
In the Casino Night Zone boss fight (Boss #6), you can damage him easily by spin-dashing up the wall and jumping off of it to hit him.
You can get some hits in on Mecha Sonic, aka Silver Sonic (Boss #16) by spin-dashing where he will land at the beginning of the battle. Be sure to release the spindash before he curls up into a ball.
Other than that, for someone who didn't use the spindash the entire level, that was a pretty impressive run!

There should be a “Suicide Mode” where it takes 3 times more hits and Eggman is much faster. And he also has invincible sections so when he first comes in so you can’t just beat him right away.

The faster way to beat the Robotnik fight with the arrows you need to get on top of the pillars so you can just jump and hit him alot easier and do not have to wait for the arrows.
Also, if you do a full spin dash off the top of a pillar, you’ll bounce back onto it after you hit Robotnik.

Here’s More Tips: At The Start Of The Hill Top Boss Jump On Him As Soon As He Rises Outta The Lava. Don’t Touch The Ground And You Can Do the Quick Kill On The Hill Top Boss. At The Start Of The Final Sonic 2 Boss Jump On Him When You Start. Then Do Not Hit Him Before He Launches. Then When He Lands Jump On Him Twice. Then When He Does Hands Attack Dodge Then Jump On Him Again. Repeat The Cycle And You Can Win With Ease

Imagine if this had more bosses from Sonic CD, from Sonic Mania and from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. And to complete Death Egg Zone you have to hit Silver Metal Sonic 8 Times and Hit The Death Egg Robot Boss 12 Times (I can’t believe I counted the Final Boss hits but I did).

(1:55, 2:12) You can jump up onto the pillars (except from the lowest height arrow) and then you can score hits more quickly that way. Just make sure you're not on a pillar as Robotnik hammers it. EDIT: Seems many have mentioned this already.
(11:02) At least you get rings for this fight. It's nice that this hack provides rings for those final battles that you'd normally not have rings for.

Also try standing on the pillars for the hammer boss.
For the hill top zone boss keep running so when the pillars rise up you land on them and then when robotnik comes closer hit him

Considering Tails, you get an option to play as him instead of Sonic if you wish.
If I made Sonic there would be an" are you sure mode"the rules are you have to hit every boss 30 times before you defeat it and you only have 50 minutes to defeat every single boss from Sonic 1 and 2 also you have one ring and one life which means if you lose your ring and die you have to do the entire thing again but there is a checkpoint in the middle the catch is that there are fake checkpoints which are scattered around the play area and if you touch any of the fake checkpoints you die the end.
At the boss with two pillars (Robotnik with hammer)
If you're fast enough you can jump on a pilar when it rises up and then jump on Robotnik from the high ground ;^)

To beat the arrow you have to STOP STANDING ON THE TIP.
If you stand away from the tip but still on the arrow, the arrow will stay up until theres a new arrow on that same pillar.

There's a Super easy way to kill flying bosses, first you have to use tails for a flying boss now fly below the boss. Now fly under the boss and then ram him while flying. ENJOY!
2:18 if arrow appears and it sticks in the totems go on the arrow and then go to the top. Then jump to attack eggman
3:20 spin dashing up and over on top of him
2:14 fast way is if robotnik send arrow at higher than 2 blocks climb top of statue and u can hit him twice

for the arrows and pillars boss you should be able to jump on top of the pillars from an arrow, and keep hitting robotnik from there, without needing to wait for another arrow.
The Aqua Ruin boss, try using a high arrow to get atop of the bird totems. Can't speak for everyone but it's a good way to get some clean overhead jumps and might get you some combos. ;)
That's the same tactic I use

a little trick with the final Robotnik Robot, don't know if it'll work with this hack, but try to stay behind it, that way you don't have to worry about the arms. attack him from the back just watch out for the flame on his rocket. When he jumps off screen run all the way left or right and duck, when he land, he'll miss you and be facing away from you. hope this helps.
to improve the Aquatic Ruin Zone boss, when the boss starts, jump to the right side of the screen onto the totem and you can hit him quicker that way. 1:40

I'm surprised they didn't include the Sonic 3 & Knuckles Bosses along with the Sonic CD bosses. It would have added more to the hack.

@@BlueTelevisionGames Throw in the Advance 1 and 2 bosses and more could be done. Not sure about Advance 3 since the game had you pick two of five characters for a team. Not sure about Rush and Rush Adventure's Boss battles as while they were 2D, they did use 3D models for the game. Same with the Game Gear/Master System games now that I think about it. Sprites might need to be adjusted, but it could be something like the Sonic Delta of Boss Battles.

Oh yes I miss this prototype if you jump on one of the arrows that's high enough you can jump on top of the third statue and just nonstop hitting I beat the boss in like a few seconds by doing this trick

You can go on the pillars in Boss 4: Aquatic Ruin Zone. From the top of the pillars, you can spindash into the Egg Mobile!

Here is a tip for the hammer Boss -
Go to the Arrow as fast as possible
Keep on Hitting eggman Until He goes to the next pillar
Repeat the process till' he dies
I never knew why the the boss fight before the final boss against Robotnik in a huge 20 foot tall robot of his likeness was a semi pathetic prototype Metal Sonic. I don’t know why, but I always felt the Robo Sonic fight to be so easy compared to the Death Egg Robot boss fight.
9:35 here is a cool little tip for that boss if spin dash is on when the purple energy balls show start spin dashing when the energy balls start coming to you release the spin dash and that will help you avoid them
You can jump on the arrows and jump on the top of the poem and keep on hitting Eggman while dodging his hammer

Aquatic ruins zone boss tip:
When the pillars come up you can jump on them, and then enjoy getting a fast kill on Eggman/Robotnik!❤❤❤
You might already know this, but at the Aquatic Ruin Zone boss fight, you can stand on the poles and attack him from the top.
In Casino Night Zone, you can spindash in the half pipe and time your jumps to, again, attack him from the top. (You just gotta spindash up the wall and jump off)
In Oil Ocean, you can jump in the oil so you attack him right when he comes up.
In Metropolis, if you play as Tails, you can fly up from under and hit him if you don't kill the Mini-Robotniks.
In Final Zone, I recommend you not to go to the left or right, as you would stay in the middle unless he presses down there. If he does, do a 1-tap spindash to either available side.
In the Silver Sonic Boss fight in Death Egg Zone, if you keep holding right when you jump on him correctly, you can get 3-4 hits.

(S2H is a ROM hack where you play as Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, you can switch the characters with a button. Idk the button for windows cause I always use an emulators default controls.)
