I love Dr. Nibley. As an undergrad at UW Madison I copied many of his articles such "Baptism in Ancient Times" in the old Improvement Era. We knew his daughter Becky in the Milwaukee Ward.

Back in about 1989 I started reading "The Miracle of Forgiveness" Once I read the chapter about Cain I knew who I had seen one morning peering in the window at me when I was about 8 years old. It was Cain. I told my mother and younger sister at the time who lived in Provo, it turned out that Hugh Nibley was the gospel doctrine teacher in their ward. They ran into him later in a park somewhere and asked him about Cain. He told them he had seen him once when he was about 12 years old and that he had never mentioned that to anyone before. I also never told anyone until I read the chapter of Cain in "The Miracle of Forgiveness" by Spencer W. Kimball.
