Yes, I'm hoping also. My plane leaves at 7pm so that means I'll have to do my antigen test that morning then do the one health pass if the website is up and running.
I agree that they remove the testing if fully vaccinated and 2 booster. My flight is at 9:30 pm which means I have to get my astingen test first hour on same day of my flight. What happened if I test positive, I’ll have to reschedule the flight and most likely pay a lot more .
@@conchitaignacio4027 Yes you have to. Wait 10days and you can travel again. If you are still positive then you will need medical certificate stating that youre already did your 10day quarantine. Then thats it. Thats what happen to me.

Thank you for the update! I'm glad the Philippines is slowly easing up the restrictions regarding traveling. I hope testing will be lifted soon...at least for fully vaccinated travelers
Here also in Europe no more restrictions for travellers, like other countries that you have mentioned Jen, its normal requirements like before, vaxx or un-vaxx no issues about it..no discriminations at all..

Hopefully after election, I don't see Duterte approving unvaxxed. He still demanding the wearing of masks that are proven to do nothing.
I am in the US but we just live with it like normal and I agree with you vaccinated or not we’re just fine.Hopefully Philippines will open for the unvaccinated foreigners like husbands/wife of a Filipino citizen, dual or Balikbayan it’s our family why not!

I'm planning my travel for a vacation to the Phils. 1st quarter of 2023. Hopefully everything will be back to normal by then, nothing to present wala nang hahanapin pa except one's passport na lang para travel hassle free 🙏

Border restrictions for COVID are like installing a screen door on a submarine after it is full of water. Do they really think any control has stopped Omicron in any country?
Nor has it stopped any of the other variants from coming into the Philippines.

Hello! We just arrived in the Philippines yesterday (April 12, 2022). Literally just spent 5 minutes from the plane disembarkation to immigration. We just had to show our one health pass but for the others they were asked to show their negative results of the test as well maybe because they weren’t able to upload their results in the one health pass platform yet. We were only asked to show our negative antigen result that was done in the pharmacy and vaccination certificate in the port of exit/origin before checking in. :) Also, no need to fill up the arrival form if you have a Filipino Passport and Singapore Airlines does not ask for the Traze app anymore.
It's great to hear at least they're letting their own people back in without a hassle which it should have been that way in the first place

Hello! For the antigen test, it’s the rapid one right? Where results only take up to 15-20 mins? It’s my first time travelling alone and I’m really worried because I’m a bit confused which type of testing they meant by that. I know a lot of pharmacies offer rapid testing but I’m not sure if thats what they meant.

Your the best! Salamat for the update. Hope soon the requirements will mostly be dropped as the Philippines copies what other countries do, even then tourism will take years to get back to being even close to before.
Gave up on going to the Philippines.
Just too much hassle and what is not mentioned here is the amount of paperwork that makes going from island to island impossible.
Masks everywhere even required outside. Ridiculous.
Went to Mexico instead. Here for 6 months. Just like Philippines. People nice, helpful good prices, weather the same as Philippines.
No COVID restrictions at all.

I am currently in the Philippines, returning to Australia next month. I won't be back till they get rid of the pre-flight testing, and having to get stressed about, counting the hours. Australia will get rid of Covid testing pre-flight from April 18. About time the Philippines get rid of it.
Good afternoon po Madame Brunhilda anong requirements pabalik Australia aside sa exit ticket, vaccination card po? Partner ko po from Australia flight schedule on August from Melbourne to Singapore then Singapore to Cebu need pa po ba ang 48 hours RTPCR TEST?
@@maryjeanimpas8340 if your partner is going to Cebu, he needs OHP, negative COVID test, vaccination certificate (tell him to make sure he downloads the international version from Medicare) and travel insurance. If he is going back to Australia and he is an Australian citizen or permanent resident, all he needs is vaccination certificate (the international version). No need for pre-flight COVID testing to enter Australia if citizen or permanent resident. The state he is returning to might have different rules. But in general, no need for COVID testing before the flight. If your partner’s flight is in August, the Philippines might have different protocols by then, hopefully no need to test.

Arrived today with the wife in Manila.. There is now a dedicated desk for one health pass where they can scan your QR code. Sadly most foreign nationals were sent back to the quarantine line for further checks. My wife who had the exact documentation like mine was told in Tagalog, they are double checking paperworks of foreign nationals. Very disappointing to see family separated in different lines . The personnel, bless them were out of their depth or swamped. Lol we did the calculations of the Hours of PCR tests prior departure together and was consistently triple checking.
Yet , I guess be patient and have an open mind . Yes many did not sleep or travelled for days with layovers like mine, but being friendly and kind makes a whole different to the staffs. I was let go quickly and immigration was smooth too.
One wish though one health pass would have been far more credible and probably simplify for the staffs to work on .
I hope and pray na mawala na yng negative test result para less stress sa mga pauwi ng pinas sana by may bago na protocol

Too many requirements. It's about time to make the travel protocols more flexible & convenient. They should NOT require hard copies anymore if everything is uploaded in One Heath Pass. It's about time to give incentive to fully vaccinated travelers by NOT requiring covid test anymore.
It's about time to live with covid, move forward & boost the tourism industry.
Sadly they don't seem to notice that. They keep changing the goal posts and making it a tough situation even harder. The longer they drag their feet the less recovery they will get.

I'm hoping they do completely away with getting tested before flights as long as you're vaccinated and have proof of vaccination maybe just a simple temperature check on arrival would do that would definitely increase the amount of visitors for sure
Im fully vaccinated modema, after i got fully vaccined i had heart attach and 3 strokes and still abnormal heart rate. My brother also got full vaccined modema, now he has low blood and gets blood e changed. Many kids in china hot vaccined and all now in hospital with lekemia

When CoVid 19 is gone so will the requirements. Right now new CoVid variants are emerging. Using just the passport and the plane ticket was pre-pandemic. We are not even in post-pandemic yet.
Too many requirements & some information to be filled out in ONE Health PASS are NOT really needed.

Just arrived in the Philippines. Wasn’t asked for travel insurance at all at immigration. Just negative test, and vaccination card, and one health pass QR. The rest was just the usual pre covid
Jennifer, I am Balikbayan arrived April 8 from Europe but they didn’t ask copy of test results. They just scan the QR code of one health pass and that’s it.The only problem i had was when during check in by Qatar airlines in Vienna Austria they asked for travel insurance copy and that was April 7. I told them it was already lifted but they didn’t believe. I was lucky it was ordinary day at bukas ang Office kaya naisend nila sa akin ang policy ng travel insurance.
Ms Jen, question for dual citizens, ie canadian/filipino who were not able to apply for ph passport- is d dual certificate enough proof to be qualified under filipinos travel requirements .

Hi jenn, just want to share my experience here in Vancouver Canada. We were suppose to travel last April 11, but we were not allowed to board the plane just for a small issue. We did all that was ask and complied but the problem came in when the boarding attendant said that the details or personal info of our antigen was hand written and they could not accept that as a proof. Sk we have to rebook our ticket and spend a big sum for our fare. And we have to be at the airport for 3days to wait for the next flight sched. It was really annoying but I just want to share this experience of mine. So please make sure that if you will get an antigen test make sure that it is not hand written or else you can’t board on you plane.

If the result is written on a pathology laboratory letter head and it is signed, dated and or stamped then it should make no difference whether it was written by hand or printed on a printer. It sounds like the check-in staff were being pedantic.
Bummer! I got offloaded once, but just one day in hotel. But Qatar charged me for rebooking on a half empty flight a day later--which is why I am no longer a Qatar customer. The airline has the final authority to board you, so always good to double check their requirements, which are sometimes different from immigration.
