sir, in question no.4 , why not 12x =75, because they told the ratio after 3 years, and we found 72years is present age, so we need to add 3 to make it after 3 years right!
In the question you equated 12x=72 but 72 is the present age of grandmother while 12x is the age after 3 years. After 3 years, we should equate 12x=72+3=75.Am I correct?

If a:b = 3:4 then a:b::3:4 Which means a=3, b=4 and 4a= 3b. You have misunderstood 4a as 4=a, and 3b as 3=b which is wrong. Product of means = product of extremes It doesnt say means or extremes are equal
