I don't understand the charging, does the bike needs to be powered on during charge? Can't find anything in the manual. I noticed that if bike is off the charger led indicator is green, if I turn the bike on it changes to red so I suppose that's how it should stay during charging?
@@williecumiskey1661 yes, indeed it doesn't work anymore with latest Fiido ebike batches (all models), because they ship out with new controllers, which can't be "unlocked" for higher speed... :// The only option to increase the speed is to buy and replace with a new controller.
Just got my Fiido M1 and this speed hack doesn't work, i don't get 004, I get E2 error message and the speed doesn't change from the factory setting, any idea?
@@ciaranp342 I managed to hack it by using a different hack for a different bike that I found on utube, seems to have worked, well sort of. On throttle only I've got it to do 40kph but with pedal assist it doesn't seem to really go that well after I get to about 20kph, it seems to cut out by then and I'm on pedal power only
What these ppl don't mention only 1 vid on here show's you how to unlock speed properly. You also have to use the power button that starts up ebike & set the right settings to get maximum speed not just by holding break's down & throttle. I no cos i own this ebike 500w now i get 30mph💯💯👍 UK 💋 y
Great video, well done. My suggestion is clean the disc rotors for any bike you are taking out of the box. They often have oil on the discs to prevent surface rust. This thin film of oil can affect your brake pads FYI

The ebike is not totally unlock buy what he just said, you also have to change the settings on the power up button ie right battery volt & right tyre level,s ie m1 pro 500 setting 260 also & there's a 3rd thing you have to do, can't think of it at present but there's a vid on here how to fully unlock this 500w ebike then the ebike is 💯 unlock you'll notice a big difference 💯👍 UK 💋👍
Older batch models could be easily unlocked with the simple trick I have explained in my video, however after some time Fiido has decided to change controller & display for their bikes, so unlocking / seeing correct speed on display requires some extra steps. Cheers!
New batch come with new display & new controllers, thats why it shows E002 code. You have to press & hold both display buttons until the numbers "00" start flashing.

I'm a member of the Facebook group. Can you please answer a question for me. Is the M1 Pro throttle compatible with the Fiido L3? I'm trying to change it out, since the twist throttle hurts my wrist. And I have already added something to use the twist throttle with my thumb. I want to completely change it.
Does the bike remember the power assit level (if you turn off at level 3 will it keep that level after turning it back on?) other to that will it remember the speed unlock as well or do you have to keep the brakes every time?
Hi. Speed unlock you have to do it only once & it will save settings. For power assist level you will need to set it again every time you switch on the bike.
New FIIDO bikes (latest batches) come with new controllers, so that's why the method explained in my video doesn't work anymore :// So its only working with older FIIDO batches (with older controller).
I had this problem, there is a little speed icon above the mph/kmh that will come up on the second or third go, just keep doing it a couple times and it should work (worked for me at least)
I wonder if buying the m1 pro over the d4s would be worth it. Ill be commuting on tarmac roads the whole time so i wont really make much use for the fat tyres. But i wohkd love the extra speed tho 🤔
For tarmac - I think D4s is enough as ebike. It's more compact, more lightweight, easier to transport, but at the same time its also pretty fast. Up to 35km)h unlocked.

@@MTCoblivsicas12345 Depends on your WEIGHT. My friend has the pro. He gets 43kph at a weight of 88kg. His girlfriend can get 47kph she weighs 60kg. So that is a factor.
Real speed depends on YOUR WEIGHT. You have two riders. One weighs 220lbs. The other weighs 170lbs. Obviously the one Beijing 170lbs is going to go faster. And I've proven this. The difference can be as much as 4 miles. I get 46KPH at a weight of 171lbs. My friend gets 39KPH at a weight of 213lbs.
How come fiido m1pro is so fast? I am looking at fiido m1pro or a bezio x500 and honestly i like the ergonomics on the bezior more and they have the same 500w 48v Dont understand the speed diffrence

I have never ridden the other models so can't say. For me the M1 Pro seat is quite uncomfortable, however I purchased a cheap cushion cover to go over it and it is good now.

Do you recommend Fiido M1 Pro over D4S? I had D4S and was very happy. Usage in the city. Not sur if double the price for M1 Pro is worth it. What is the real max speed for M1 Pro?
I have the M1 Pro max speed I reached (while I was pedalling like mad using full throttle) was 32mph. This was on flat terrain with me putting in maximum effort while I weigh around 90kg. Over course of a journey you average around 31kmph/19mph if you throttle then cycle to keep the speed.
The real max speed is 26mph or about 43kph. Pure throttle ONLY. You can go a bit faster if you pedal at the same time. All depends on YOUR WEIGHT and TRAVEL CONDITONS. I weigh 171lbs.

Yes, 50km/h is wheel on the air speed. Real speed on road would be around 35-40km/h depending on riders weight & other conditions.
Real speed with be anything from 38 to 46KPH

M1 Pro is ~40km/h on flat road, 50km/h is only downhill or wheel in air speed :))
