Thanks for the walkaround - short and sweet. So no spacers, right? The high clearance bumper allows for those bigger tires, obviously, but would you have otherwise been able to fit those, or is the upper control mod needed as well? Also, you may have mentioned this in another video, but did you have to re-gear with the extra weight? Love your channel! Keep up the great work.
Thank you! I'm gonna have to make another one with more detail, I realized I missed a few things. I do have 1/4" spacers in the front just to clear my calipers (I have the tundra brakes which I forgot to mention in the video). The upper control arms are needed for a proper alignment, it would be hard to align with 35" tires and factory upper arms. I did also have to trim a bit and relocate my washer fluid reservoir to clear the tires. I didn't necessarily have to re gear but I did re gear with yukon 5.29 gears which makes a big difference. It would suck with factory gears. Thanks again for the support!
Parts total was around $7000USD, and most likely cost less if you shop around and don't buy at full price. Definitely not a $25,000 T4R though. You'd be lucky to get 12k.
Dobinsons Great coils varied, comfortable, ride, off-road, and on road
