I'd be pissed off if I were in Hutchy's shoes too. He had to run both races in the superstock bike rather than the superbike. His teams fuck up. Then the scrutineers go running to Michaels team saying he had oversized pistons in his supersport bike when he didn't. Of course their going to say something about it. That scrutineer should be brought forward to explain himself. However I feel that the press conference wasn't the place to voice these grievances should have been done in private. A great weeks racing and congratulations to all who had a podium place. Dunlop's on fire in that senior.

why is everyone saying its poor show from hutchy? Michael was the one that started trying to spread these rumours yet again in the winner enclosure immediately after the senior race. What we see here is Hutchy's response and in fairness it was along time coming, he'd kept his mouth closed since Wednesday. Hutchy's 600 passed both the post race scrutineeings so it was legal and that should have been the end of it. Michael is as ungracious in victory as he is in defeat.

Immediately after the senior race Michael started bringing it up again to Manx radio as it went out live saying that be should have had 3 wins that week ect and I can only imagine that he said the same to the north one television group, so yes it was Michael that was spreading the rumours. The fact still remains that Hutchy's bike passed the post race scrutineering and it wouldn't have had it had oversized pistons. Michael had his opportunity in this interview to say his piece and explain his dispute and he didn't as he prefers to do it behind peoples backs, he got flustered at being called out by Hutchy and denied what he'd been doing......Oh and tits are useful.
When two racers as evenly matched as these two both with the hunger to be 1st!! as they do, this is sometimes the tactics that get wheeled out by some racers. We are only seeing one side here. It's all fair in love and war and RACING! What a show these guy's put on this year amazing racing. Both are at the top of the tree both want to win as much as each other both know the other could beat the other.= BRILIANT RACING FOR US.
Cant help wishing Hutchy did have same engine as Michael did with both top and bottom power feel we have been robbed of a real tight race and no excuses that been said excellent showing by the pair of them .....only 11 and half months till we do it all again ☺👊🏻✊🏼

Hutchinson's Superbike with a stock engine against Dunlop's fully blown superbike, no wonder Dunlop beat him. Hutchinson proved yet again this year that when on equal machines Hutchy is king.Pity the tyco team didn't get the superbike engine ready. Congrats to Hutchinson 3 in a row again.

It's fantastic to be able to give the privilege of winning. Steve worked hard to put the bike on the grid, and if i'm honest steve made it easy for me really. He put a good package together and changed a few things in the pit stop, a couple of clicks here, a couple of clicks there. 1:48 I got my hammer down, a bit peeved over Wednesday so I just said, right, time to reinvent the wheel and have a go so we dug deep and away we went. 2:00 We came back fighting.. all them records in one race you know, you can't go wrong with that really can you and it's just great. It's probably the first time in a long time that a private bike has came here and won races. 8:40 "I don't need to. It was a scrutineer that pointed it out, not me: that's just the way it goes. Whatever you're into, that's the way it is. If he wants to bitch at me that's no problem, I'm a big enough man to take it on the chin and it makes no difference to me. It makes no difference to me. I think Hutchy has been the victim of mind games played on him by Michael. This is all fair in racing and goes on all the time - nothing wrong with it. i dont understand why be so mad at something that had no outcome and changed nothing , he didnt have oversized pistons he had no repercussions he still won that race , why in the hell would you be mad at that you race at 200+ mph on a track that could kill you and your mad over elementry school gossip i just dont get it
The oversized pistons statement was about Michael's team protesting Ian's R6 in Supersport was illegal. So a check on the R6 was done by the scrutinizers the day after this conference and it came out clean. It had nothing to do with the Senior race. Ian should have kept this situation away from his mind in the race and away from the conference, but he is a human like the rest of us.
