The music goes hard. My only comment is that this is extremely difficult to march. Here are two suggestions: 1. Group this into sets where the tempo changes can happen while folks are either standing still or doing visuals. 2. Have the other tempo changes be an easily understandable ratio to the other tempos, even if you have to change the original tempo slightly. As an example, I would rewrite the first tempo set as 3/4 and the second as 6/8, and then change the tempo from Q.=100 to Q=150, and the tempo from Q=200 to Q.=150 (or Q=225). The melody turns from 8th notes at 150, into triplets at 150, and the marching tempo remains the same.
If this were actually marched, the fast 3/4s would be marched in 1, slowing it dramatically. And if I were to put drill to this, the opening bit that fluctuates in tempo would be staged and have very little marching until the constant tempo sets in.
@@nathankabirimusic9685 My biggest concern isn't even the fast 3s, it's the tempo changes. I think you could make it happen with marching with the ideas I suggested, and that'd be even more impressive to the judges honestly. Regardless, the music sounds baller, keep working at it!
this is SUPER good, i can see this being an opener or a feature in DCI one day, wonderful job and very well done adding onto what olivianava5422 said, I would also change the low brass quarter notes at roughly 0:53 to quarter note triplets, just to keep that feel of the original song, but this could also be done through tempo changes or time signature changes, bravo again!
@@nathankabirimusic9685 gotcha. Yeah I personally haven’t use musescore myself. And tbf I personally don’t like most virtual instruments glissandos for trombone (I’m a trombone player myself so I’m picky lol)
Awesome! I think the latter part could be improved with some more references to the melody like the mellos at 1:06. Also maybe it’s just me, but I really like how the original piece ends by going into the final chord one step at a time, along with the consistent 8th note/triplet rhythm accompanying it. Other than those small things, I absolutely love what you’ve done here
What sounds do you use for euphonium, and baritones? I can’t find any good sounds online nor do the built in MuseScore sounds for those instruments sound good
imagine this with the electronic soundscape that bluecoats have mastered. I can only dream
That would sound absolutely unreal
dude imagine kinetic noise’s opener but with this song that would be INSANE
close prediction, wrong blue! bd has this in their rep this year
@@karinamillman6669 Thats gonna sound so cool if they do it right
Nah bro just give me hornline I don’t want to hear that synth
That mello part slaps, I love the high c at the end
Yeah that was a later addition but I think it adds a lot!
The actual opening hit could use some work but I can absolutely imagine Bluecoats doing something like this. Very reminiscent of Kinetic Noise
This needs to hit yt algorithm. So the bluecoats or CC can see it. Anyone! ITS AMAZING
It seems to be favored by insta rn, hopefully youtube is next!
BD better hear about this

Welcome to dci
Bro this I’ve never gotten chills from a cover before, but the bass notes at 0:25 got me lol. Nice job bro :D
Tuba is so underrated
The front parts for this would def go crazy

watch stryke wynds 2024 this is their opener and it slaps so hard
ending sounded like Inferno dude 😭
I love a good minor chord ending
kinetic noise ahh arrangement
I personally think having a mix of trombones and mellophones would be perfect. For the slides though, trombones would definitely take the plate
Yeah, I wanted to do a trombone feature, but I don’t like the way the glisses on musescore sound so I scrapped that version

Oh I will, I just gotta figure out what song to do for the next episode of the series to top this one

we need a Kinetic Noise pt. 2 with this in it
Blue devils 2024??
BD HAS THIS IN THEIR SHOW
Crown needs this OMG I would die
Very cool,
I've made a Musescore recreation myself of this piece a month or so ago on my channel, welcome to take inspiration from it.

go check out stryke wynds 2024, they played this in their show

Dude! Where did you get these beautiful sounding horn samples?
Musescore
what soundfonts do you use for the baritone and the euphoniums since they dont have their own in the musesounds pack?
I just use trombone 🤷♂️
It sounds pretty decent
@@nathankabirimusic9685 okay cool thats what i was guessing thank you!
Ofc
how do you get the trumpet soundfont to play higher? for some reason mine wont go that high
Yeah mine only goes to a D, so I use a separate soundfont from finale for the screamer notes
@@nathankabirimusic9685 oh cool, is it free to download for others or no?
I don’t know, but I don’t think it is, a cheaper fix would be to use the basic musescore piccolo trumpet sound, it doesn’t sound that out of place
