@@EVEDoneCasual any chance you might cover the command ships? As already pointed out, this quality of video for the current game is seriously lacking, I'd like to see more by you.
I use a Vindicator with 8 ORE Miner Lasers and 5 Carpo mining laser upgrades. I eject the container, open it and move the ore as it fills my hall, to the container. After I had enough of mining, I will fly the Vindicator to station were I have a Catalyst, then send that out to pick up the container ore. Also the Oracle for mining. Expand hall with containers and rigs, 7 bore mining lasers, works well.
Kinda makes sense, I feel like it’s pretty common for Eve ships named to end in an -er or -or suffix that doesn’t have emphasis. Like Rifter, Procurer, Retriever. If it was coVEETor, it would sound more like the rest
Nice video. You forgot to mention you can also scan down higher-quality ore fields in high-sec systems, so you don't have to venture into low-sec systems to find jaspet, for example.
Yeah even with higher skilled ships it makes no money, you need to multibox 10 accounts with an orca to be able to get anything out of it but then thats 10 accounts you need to omega so hard pass for me
@@Thegoodnoodle52753 its boring and makes nothing, you wont ever experience the actual game sitting in a venture in a 0.7 system, nor actually be able to progress outside of it.
Good production quality, but the fits leave big targets on your back with the afterburners and survey scanners - gankers love that stuff, it takes less catalysts to take them down
I've been playing EO since its release. Off and on to be exact. If anything I would fire up my account and train skills... but to be honest, Ive completely forgot how to play. I was always a miner. I can fly Orca's, Frieghters, Mining Capital ships etc etc... however, Im terrified to come back to the game. Is there a way to get in with people to be reacquainted with the game and not get taken advantage of and griefed? Any advice would be appreciated. I have a lot of hours in training (IMO) in the game and would love to come back... just dont wanna walk back in and get hosed and hundreds if not thousands of hours lost.
I'm in the same boat, with similar skills. I found a good newbie-friendly corp to join 2 weeks ago so they can show me the ropes I've missed out on during my time away
Just apply to any of the new player friendly large alliances… Brave Newbies Inc, Pandemic Horde, Eve University ect… they’ll get you up and running in no time and then you can either stay or move on to a alliance/corp that is more seriously aligned with what you enjoy doing.
as an alpha, before attempting gas huffing, i'm making money by mining ore anomalies in 0.5 sec, where i make around 10 mil/hour in a cheap venture, mining stuff like jet ochre. It's not a lot, but it's better than mining veldspar all day o7
0.5s with Ytirium and Jet Ochre are great, get the Prospect, with cloak, you can mine much more boosting your income while also being relatively safe (learn to position so you can cloak if hostiles come). It also opens up ore anomalies in LS and NS for you, as the prospect with its cloak whilst warping make it very safe in LS. Just becareful in NS with gatecamps. :)
I would really lile a video on how to get in to the support roles of mining. Its expensive to start with af Orca, så how would you adress scaling to the support ships and role
Mining laser upgrade I & II DO NOT require Omega to use, you can train to use the Mining laser upgrade II with alpha, i'm doing it right now, the yellow omega picture you showed just shows the training time with Omega vs without, otherwise good video

Not much you can do to keep the temps down on a laptop. I think you can buy laptop cooling pads, which might help, but I'm not sure how good they are 😭
Had the same overheating issues with my old laptop after I put the m.2 in it,the only solution I came up with was to take the back off and run it on a external monitor with external kb&m,never overheated again
No, they nerf it so you buy more plex from them. Mining is literally 0.000000000001 USD per hour. 2 hours at a minimum wage job in the US is enough to earn more isk than 3-4 months of mining
@ well I remember a while back in 2018 or 2019 the devs were trying to get people to PvP and not spend too much time grinding isk. Around the time they did local chat blackouts in Null. It took enough time to grind just from ratting, mining, etc. especially with just one account. So they nerf and bottleneck everything, making it more grindy, causing people to either just buy plex or invest in 20+ accounts to make a profit. Fuck CCP for ruining this game. Just had to add that on there ;)
Just stop playing eve while youre ahead. CCP intentionally makes all the game mechanics mind numbingly boring so you buy plex from them for IRL money. Oh and every major corp leader is botting so GL ever turning a profit on anything. Mining in this game (other than endgame wormhole mining) makes you about $0.000000000000000001 USD per hour. I have to say that is the worst venture build I have seen thus far. I am an alpha miner, I play casually, and make a lot of ISK too. I don't know what you are thinking. Your build cost is almost 1 million ISK for this venture. As an ALPHA, I use a mining upgrade in that low slot. That item is NOT omega locked. I use the much better EP-S Gaussian Scoped Mining Laser with a range of 16 km compared to your 11 km particle bore. If I want it faster, I would buy the more costly ORE laser. I fit nothing in my rig slots, I keep the ship as low cost as possible. Never fly something that a ganker can dunk before you start mining. My builds cost 480,000 ISK and one load of kernite in low-sec and I can build 8 more, if I need to do so. What are you doing putting expensive shield rigs on the ship? Do you think you are going to survive a ganker attack? You have nothing as weapons, your best and only choice in a venture is to flee back to dock or leave the system. This build gives new players a false sense of security and will end badly. Your head is not in the right place. Good luck to anyone who follows it.
I don't care for mining at all (outside of mining blitz event sites), but the production quality and presentation kept me watching.
good job.
