Rain puts me to sleep, most people use it for sleeping because of how calming it is and after that associate it for sleeping in there brain, so I guess your lucky enough not to feel sleepy 😴☺️

For anyone here with anxiety, fear, stress, or depression, I want you to know that you are not alone. We all go through difficult times in our lives, and it can sometimes feel as though we'll never get back to normal. But we will overcome all the difficulties. No matter how cold the winter is, there is still a spring ahead. Believe in the power of positive thinking. You will get through it and you will come out stronger than ever.
Best one I've found so far, most of the other ones are either too heavily rainy or have way to much of the hissing sounds, this one barely has any hissing and is just the right amount of rain :)

Having a sound drown out unexpected sounds DOES help for deeper sleep!! :)There is white noise, pink noise, grey and brown noise! But any sound like rain, or a tv, would serve a similar purpose!
I'm not even tired and I have listened to a solid hour of this. It's so soothing. Makes me think of rainy summer days, calm but warm. Perfect for drifting off into daydreams. It makes me so happy

As someone with autism it can be hard to find good noises to relax right now im dealing with constipation and gas and this is one of my favorites it helps and calmed me down

If you still have issues with PTSD, you might try EFT tapping. It's free and easy. Not saying it's a substitute for therapy, but no harm in trying it. Find a video here on youtube that matches the subject, tap where the person taps and repeat the phrases. Repeat process as much as you want. Some people see fast results, some take longer. I worked in a chiropractic clinic a few years back and one of our patients was a former chiropractor who decided to help veterans suffering from PTSD by guiding them with EFT tapping. He said guided works better, but free is better than nothing if you're not going to look for someone who will customize tapping sessions for you personally. Up to you, of course. And you may not even see this, since your comment was 2 years ago.
I like Brad Yates, he probably has hundreds of videos on all different subjects and gives plenty of time to repeat phrases.

I was absolutely desperate - as my partner recently died alone unexpectedly and it's been haunting me every night tbh - and when I wake up having panic attacks during the night or early morning, I've been putting this on and it has enabled me to actually get back to sleep. I'm so sorry for your loss. My mom died unexpectedly 2 months ago from a preventable health cause that was undetected. I have trouble sleeping and wake up after a few hours panicked, with ruminating thoughts, and dry heaving. It's thankfully starting to lessen. Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by to send some positive energy to all of you! These past years been very tough to me. Ive been challenged mentally, emotionally and certainly spiritually. I feel like i’m finally finding myself and who I was once before when I had peace. I am thankful to come across a channel like this one that shows me that we are really all one in the same. We all have these daily struggles that we deal with that can keep us up late at night but just know that you are not alone. Knowing that I can come here and openly express myself and see others doing the same gives me hope that the world will indeed be a better place but it starts with us. I think this is absolutely wonderful! I love how the doors are open - and the rain and storm sounds reflect that. These sounds are different if you are listening to them through closed windows. I love how you’ve done this - you’ve nailed it! The only thing I don’t understand is the window to the far right, over the desk. The sky outside is a dark blue... why is this square a light blue? Above the couch outside, there are trees... but the sky above it is light blue? I’m not sure if I’m explaining that properly - I’m sorry if I’m not! Everything else is perfect. I love the colours, I love how the bed is unmade - it’s more inviting that way... like you just got out to go to the washroom, and you’re headed back to bed, and this is what you see. The plants inside are lovely. The five warm golden lights are wonderful! They really help to set the cozy tone! The hanging chair is perfect. I’d love to see a little side table next to it with an open book and a tea cup. It would be nice to see a few stars in the deep blue sky. These are just ideas popping into my head. It’s still perfect just the way it is.

My 2 year old has been sleeping with this sound from birth and now my 2 month old also , it calms them gets them asleep quick and they stay asleep longer. I love it and they love it too as my 2 year old asks for the rain at nap time. Best sound ever thank you ❤

Ive very bad anxiety I'm only 15 and I grew up to rain when I was little I would sleep in the rain and my parents be like what on earth are u doing and I told them it's like god is telling u
ur u and ur special but he's showing it in something u love like the rain or rain noises thank u soo much this is soo handy i sleep to it every night xx
