I, like Glen, also do double bass playing starting with my left foot. It's just the way I began playing double bass. I would like to hone my technique as 9it is not as evenly as someone who plays with their right foot as in RLRL versus RLLR.
But he’s starting with his right foot here and playing RLR, not LRL.

Because you apparently aren't aware, they make these things called ear plugs. They tend to help with that.
