I just LOVE this guy's playing, it's so musical and tasteful, so perfectly executed, exactly giving what the song asks for. Glen is the man. His drumming ability is simply unmatched. The king of groove.
That hi-hat work just blew my mind! So freaking perfectly articulated! Wathched yesterday, watching tomorrow again. Very inspiring (practiced today under the influence)!
Holy shit I never realized how complicated this song is with all the playing the hats and ride at the same time. This dude is a sick drummer for sure!!!!!
Just saw you at the BB&T in NJ earlier this week, we were totally blown away at your solo. On top of the killer technique and rhythms, it might seem like a funny thing to point out but your perfection of stick twirling is the coup de grâce; I've never seen anyone incorporate it so seamlessly into their normal strokes like you do, brilliant.
Man, this guy has some tasteful chops. Miles away from some of the tub-thumpers I've seen - not that they were bad or anything. I watched the rack build and now you have my sub.
Derek G I never knew you could slow down the speed! I’m now going to return to all those films I’ve seen in other clips I could never work out! I don’t know you....Derek G But in all the time I’ve been looking and reading comments in Clips yours is by far the best and Helpful I have ever read! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙏
I come back to Glenn's and Mike Vanderhule's videos all the time. This here, Frankenstein is FLAWLESS. Great stuff Brother Glenn. This video is fucking awesome for those of us who want to live vicariously through our hero's. Are you playing with a click, assuming for the theatrics timed and whatnot?
did you have to cut the hihat post off to not have it stick out the top of the clutch at that low height?..anytime I have seen hihats that low the pull rod is up to a foot higher
DW makes several different lengths. In the past I used to just cut mine. I'm not sure what Glen has done here though, but if that's a DW hat stand, he probably used the short rod.
That groove on the ride bell and hat, uhhhhh
Never get tired of watching this. Sobel can get it!!
He makes it look so easy, so effortless. I love watching his videos. He's very humble.
Sobel once again showing us little people why he's sitting there and you're not
Absolutely!
He's a bad ass
He's doing it in such a cool way. We just ain't that cool.

My favorite drum cam ever, he's just so good!!!!!
This guy knows what he's doing!

Absolute ANIMAL behind the drums. That’s some of the cleanest cymbal work I’ve ever seen and those fills are off the chart clean. Damn!!
Holy shit I never realized how complicated this song is with all the playing the hats and ride at the same time. This dude is a sick drummer for sure!!!!!
I dont think that happens in the original version of the song
Oh man what a nice funky groove!
Such a great drummer - and that ride bell sounds epic
1:41 so clean!
Rock on Glen! Thanks for the vid. Love your work man.
Awesome!!!
You Always inspire me Glen!

Sweet groove between the hihat and the bell on the ride! Very nice!
That may very well have been the best video I've ever seen. So ridiculously good!

I strive to be as good of a drummer as you are.
Top top top! :D
I'd love to see a youtube lesson on the little fill @1:40.
Bill Zillmer thats just four on the hands two on the feet.
Just put the video to .75x speed and thank me later.

Usually this is played to a click but for this show I think we skipped it. Thx for checking it out!
Cool chokes
Someone should transcribe that bell and hihat groove during the chorus........
I wonder what he is hearing in his mix?
Geeeezzz….. that’s nut’s. And you have a lot more hair than I do.
Awesome job, are you doing paradiddle on the ride and hi-hat on that groove?
It's RLLRLRLL
That DW kit sounds SO much better..great upgrade!

Tasty!
Why did you switch from Mapex drums to DW drums?
Looks like Paul Rudd from behind
A lot of bucket of fish
He’s such psycho
FUDIDOOOO !!!! 🤘🤘🤘🇧🇷
Imma quit playing😂
Paradiddle
