mine won't stay in tune sadly. i hate it now. looks gorgeous. best sounding se I ever had or heard. won't stay in tune. I really really really really effin HATE IT right now. going to cool down a bit, give it one more go tomorrow before I send it back to the swamp. can't even stand to look at it right now.
Ya. I had a Core Custom 24 10 top. Owned it for 20 years and hated it for 20 years. Same problem. Even with the locking tuners it never ever stayed in tune.
@@paulkline3011What gauge strings were you using? Custom 24s are set up for 9 or 10 gauge. I put 11s on and it wouldn’t stay in tune. Now with 10s it never goes out of tune no matter how much I use the trem.

Ive got the red version. These can do about anything. I play anything from bluegrass to hair metal and it does a great job, especially for the money.

Mine was the same way, even after putting the se locking tuners, I did put some 10s on it then replaced them with Ernie balls 9s, now it's perfect

did you take to a Luthier for a set up to see if they can find any issues with ?
