The most of the people thinks that this kind of music is boring. But for me it’s just a fascinating trip inside my mind. Just a peacefully reminder of a good times
The thing about Bonobo's music is that it often feels as though - once having heard it - it has been there all along. Like remembering a hidden memory that flashes back to the present moment, as if to say "Of COURSE - this was the sound I was looking for the whole time." I've been listening to echos of this track my whole life, and Bonobo just published it 3 months ago.
That's true.. I wonder how he does that. He must convey some common yet very specific experiences and emotions. We all know them, but we never put our finger on it.
This song will forever remind me of being addicted to heroin for 10 years. Fuckin over family and friends, pretending To have a job. I made it out though. Clean and sober. Electrical superintendent. Building water treatment plants. Three kids. An amazing wife. My amazing family and friends forgiving me. Bonobo and life are the only things that get me high now. Peace and love
Dad's crazy music eh'. I share this song with my kids to insure that I nourish their creativity with a morsel like this from BONOBO ( Simon Green). I love all three of you even more than all of my music.
The first half of this song reminds me of the japanese countryside that you see in animations. With trains passing, summer sounds and kids splashing on the nearby river..
Its like I'm in this electronica/tron-like world and I getting lost. The isolating break half-way through is phenomenal because it breathes life into the second half, then gracefully fades out into space.
The last 90 seconds of this song makes me feel like I am being walked backwards into my mother's womb. With each step, life becomes more simple and weightless as if my feet are no longer touching the ground.
This is amazing don’t let people stop u from making this music , this is amazing and is much much more then simple beats, Love your music ! I hope u see this , your music is amazing and gives me a story every time I listen to it! DONT LET ANTONE STOP YOU!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩
Similar yes. But you'd be hard pressed to hear something 100% standalone original these days. The textures, depth, progression and overall ambiance of this tune is far different.
I always come back to this album and I fall in love with your music more and more each time. Absolutely timeless. 6:05 and beyond was absolutely magical to me
Never really digged Bonobo's old stuff, but Migration is phenomenal. I know a lot of the old time fans are gonna reaaaallly hate me for that, so I'm preemptively telling them to suck it and respect different tastes. Artists change and attract both new followers and the ire of previous fans, that's life.
At the 6:12 mark to the end of the song, my mind will begin to remember the memories I had last year when I met this sweet girl, who I had become best friends with, and when I first discovered this song around the same time. Such a beautiful sound to listen to that will bring the good times I had with her.
Sorry it took so long to reply. I'm in the St. Louis, MO area, so I hear it on one of their news stations... It's the Channel 2 news, I believe? (if anyone from around here is reading this). Outlier isn't the only song they play. I've heard Days to Come and Cirrus as well. Sadly, they don't credit the song or musician, and I wouldn't have known it was Bonobo if I wasn't already familiar with his music.
Bonobos music/mixes is thought provoking and brings back lots of memories of my travels and hopefully future travels once the plague of 2020/21+ goes away keep it coming sir❗️
I first heard this in Ibiza,I couldn’t work out where it was coming from then I hit me my balcony was directly opposite Mambos and Cafe Del mar across the bay but I could hear it clear as anything managed to catch it loud bough n sound hound and bought what ever I could find❗️
DonnieDarko Requiem digging your username. and i know this is late but he’s absolutely stellar live, thankfully i’ve gotten to see him 3-4 times live, all during different points in his musical career and style so each show was unique in its own. hope you enjoyed the live show he put on as well
This whole album has been incredibly significant to me this past two years for a lot of reasons. Besides of being a conceptual album, each song has a unique factor that makes them special, each one of them. Can anyone recommend me more artist/LPs/EPs like this? Not just the genre but stuffs with similar atmospheres, bonus points if they're conceptual albums

Wow and to think this is my day ✌🏽🤯
I’ve been listening to bonobo for years and this gave me chills. He seems so in tune with the human experience. Timeless music.
Every second has a story to tell. This song has so much life. It's alive.
The layers on this track are what make it so incredible--he just keeps adding brilliant little snippets into the mix, like a microcosm of melodies.
You might want to check out Plaid, they're also masters of the subtle art of layers upon layers of rhythms and melodies!
Every track... every beat ... every wibble.... every wobble on this album is so fine.
Bonobo has always been one of those artists that always produces consistently wicked tracks.
This is no exception.
for real, it blows my mind. I wonder how many tracks he DOESNT release if all of them are this good.
Absolute journey - when he played this live you went from completely calm to absolutely having it when it drops
his music is timeless.. still good years later. this is best song on the album. crazy transition
This and second sun are both my favorite tracks on the album cant really choose

This track has a floating points feel to it with the buildup, love it
Sounds like the stars in their paths pointing to the future. Lovely.
This song just brings peace to my soul. I'll forever love it,
Cant explain how much i love this song!!!! Aaaaaa
Bonobo's outros are pure gold! Invariably.
Its like I'm in this electronica/tron-like world and I getting lost. The isolating break half-way through is phenomenal because it breathes life into the second half, then gracefully fades out into space.
Favorite song off the new album so far.
My favourite too
yep

Beautifully written
Were you on acid while writing this?

every new Bonobo album becomes my favorite-already love this one..
If i can just get the last 1:30 of this cut on loop all day, that would be heaven on earth!
We lives in times of huge amount of music but he always has style.
Best track on the album.
These pictures are so beautiful! Calm and peaceful just like Bonobos sound.
This is just all I need right now. Nothing more
Definitely my favorite track. Like all tracks on this album.

This will never bore me
I run thru the woods with this song blasting on my headphones and quite honestly, I feel like a cheetah person when I do

Stellar work! Congrats on the new album! Masterpiece.
My new Lullaby.
no better name for this times... AMAZING! (like always)
The local news channel plays this song occasionally before going to commercial. Kinda neat to hear Bonobo on TV.
What country do you live where they play Bonobo on TV? I want to move there.

National Public Radio frequently uses Bonobos songs to transition between stories as well. I've heard Cirrus, Kerala and Antenna so far
Listening to this while studying, suddenly everthing is extremely interesting. xD
Gracias Bonobo! Vuelo en mi casa

amazing! makes me feel like i'm floating on soft clouds:))
I need at least a two-hour version of this.
every album he's made is awesome .... including "It came from the sea" and the two Boiler Room videos .... and the NTS stuff
MrJay7777 agree!

Bonobo you are a God
Hadn't heard much of his stuff until now, but this and the rest of the album is brilliant. Will buy a copy. Promise!
I once stayed in the same hotel as he did, found out right after his show, somewhere in Oakland.
Heavenly...

Tune!
Why there isn't a super duper ultra love icon to click on for this song?
Yeah for some songs that button should just appear.
Best way to do it is probably by adding it to your playlist and sharing it around with like minded people
that transition..... N U T
it's like Floating Points.
The production and the straightforward beat set it apart from him for me.
Floating Points is good, Bonobo is great.....
Both are great in my opinion. FP has more of an introspective, emotional bent for me. Bonobo is a bit more head-nodding, pure enjoyment.
Head-nodding hahaha
beautiful
Groovy
I'm new to this band and loving it.
Front runner for my track on the album
this is insane. I love the whole album, it's beautiful
