I lived there 54 years ago. Can't believe how it's changed. Not bad just different. Thanks for sharing.
Full of life!! Amazing, I felt like I was there. Thank you
Not Cauliflower... it's hominy. Which is dried corn. Like I said.... I have to do my homework before shooting these. But at least it's raw commentary. 😆😜
I had two Nathan’s hotdogs for dinner last night. I Cross scored them like a diamond dog and it really made them taste much better in my opinion. I cooked them by steaming first than added some oil and finished them with a quick fry.
Hi Chris. love the channel! was wondering how u stay so fit when eating so much! I've got to stop watching when I'm hungry!😂
There is nothing better than eating below the 7 train.
Excellent tour of Jackson Heights!!
Love it my brother!
My old neighborhood, the smells are so good. Everyday is a festival.
Thanks for letting me come along on your travels. This is what it's all about, the people, the city.
when i get high, this is always a good place to be at. you have a calming voice and the walk is always enjoyable as well as the food! Yum!!
Thank you!
Rad scarf - coworker Italian former Brooklyn deli wkr makes his own sausages all types
Accounts snap it up demand can't keep up --- that's a crazy street scene nice slide in for eats drooling here 😋
(Nothing weird ALWAYS good 🤣)
This is my favorite vid because it reminds me of King of Queens
I hope you hooked that pigeon up
THANKS for going there that was very enjoyable !
My boy tried Ecuadorian food at the end lol
man , your brave.
Chris you need to check out Franky's Soulavki on the corner of Steinway and 31st Ave. Great sausage and kabobs and very good hot dog!!
Damn this brought so many memories!!! My family managed the parking right there on Roosevelt. Also, Elmhurst hospital was one of my accounts. I was out there weekly. That was my favorite healthy juice bar !
Very cool...my old neighborhood in the late 1970s to 1990s .... started to become as it is when I moved out but still like to vibes ... the street food is the star but must try at your own risk...I'm willing...good video.
Amazing experience ! Love the walking tours !
Loved this!! I could spend a day or two just getting small orders of so many things. So wish we had such here. I can dream. Tyvm!
Great value today...I think the cauli..was Yuca or a plantain variant...
great video, keep these videos coming!!
Hi Chris i enjoy the videos
Looks real good 😋
Amazing location and variety of food. Wish Melbourne AUS had street food like this 😢
Great video born raised in Astoria only food carts they had were hotdogs, shiscabob
Great segment Chris. I remember as a boy that Nedicks was at 74th Street. It was an amazing experience back then. Different now, but times do change. Thanks for the video.
This was a great video, possibly your best. That corridor is known for great food but 99% of the vendors were illegal. They would have a prominent nyc vendor license conspicuously posted if they were legal. Nyc doesn’t really enforce laws anymore so anything goes. Food did look great. That corridor is also known for many brothels and hookers as documented in the NY Post recently. Great job. Thanks
Is that (hooker) what the "oh oh" in the video was about?
@@ytube777 yup.
Enjoyed. Thanks for sharing.
I will admit I do not know what is going on there, but I wish our state fair was like that. :)
you always make me SO hungry! love your videos!! thx
Now I have to go in my kitchen and I have nothing that even comes close to this great looking food 😂, thanks for taking me on this trip 👍🏻
🤣 .....😭
Great video, Chris! Lots of activity on that stretch and delicious food! He forgot to give you the half potato with the shish-ke-bab. I used to get a slice of Italian bread with mine when I'd buy them from carts in Queens back in the 80s.
There wasn’t room.
You gotta to wonder how brick and mortar feel about people selling only feet from their storefront when they're paying square footage rent .......🤔
Yeah, I don't think any of those food vendors have licenses to sell food. Plus you have to think about the cleanliness of each of the vendor's food stalls. They can't be too clean being out in the open like that selling food underneath the 7 train which is constantly running overhead.
Great video Chris food looked very good love the walking tour as well.
Glad you enjoyed it
@@NYCHotDogStands always enjoy watching.
Nice video I enjoyed this content
Queens looks like hell! I thought this was a CharlieBo313 video for a minute lol. In Latin America we avoid these places, so it’s sad to see it’s now come to America.
That cats vids are insane 😳 🙏
Question were those nuts that the lady sprinkled on top of the plate when she was done making it for you?
Hominy.
Hustle city
Yes that’s alot of food, looks good tho
that looks more like hominy(pozole) than cauliflower
Bro I thought you said you got the $10 meal and right after said you got the $15 make up your mind and do your homework 😂
Uh Oh 😉 😝
So it was like that when you was a kid?
Get a Colombian style hotdog yo 🤤
Chris what’s your ethnic background?
I use to help a friend selling that and he told me most of the meat that’s on a stick is cat or rat
I believe them white things are hominy.
all unregulated, unsanitary, and fire-hazardous spots. All should be taken down immediately.
No Licenses, no health inspections, definitely not paying taxes and the money goes right out the country
The white stuff is hominy
