Thanks for the nice comments guys!! I'm glad I brought some insight to the fashion district. Remember that it is all perception. Same jeans can cost you $20 or $200.
Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/JFXmIh4P2dM/v-deo.html
always good insight!
Palessi...A fool and his money were lucky enough to get together in the first place.
Learn something new from every video. Kind of bingee watching these. Makes me hungry though.
That empanada guy was cool.
He was. Going back.
@@NYCHotDogStands ask him if he's been watching the World Cup and if he was devastated when Ecuador got knocked out 😂
@@timboslice150 cool dude
Thank You Chris For The Great Tour Of The Fashion District, And Of Course The Great Eats. Have Enjoyed ALL Of Your Videos. I Like Going Back And Watching Them Over,And Over.
always a great knowable insight to NYC
The amount of times these dudes instantly grab ketchup right after saying mustard astounds me.
Definitely perception when it comes to the garment district. Big difference between assembled or made in the U.S. and a big difference between paying $20. or $200. for the same Blue Jeans. Thanks for teaching us about the Garment District, very interesting ❤
Love the empanada guy...gotta respect his hustle..12 years...and probably no business during pandemic.. Sweet guy..
This dude was awesome. Going back!
Yeah but he aint making anything there "fresh" its all just warmed up food... no flour/ovens/ boiling beef.... just a pie warmer and hustle....
Thanks for showing us New York brother. Love watching and of course the dogs are exactly how I order when I can get them in ca. or make them
You are so correct that it's all about Perception
I agree, if you are proud of your food and want to be known, you’ll show your face but if you sell crap, you won’t in fear of being recognized and lose money 😂
Yeah!! A new video!
Empanada looked good
Very interesting stories! I thought "garment district" was a thing of the past, with the pictures from before of men moving around racks of clothing.
Thanks for the garment insight, cool info
Any time!
I really enjoy your vids and getting to see NY and the street foods, Love It❤🙏
The tip is as much as the dog.👍
Nice work Chris, ill be doing a hotdog tour in late Feb with your tips.... all the way from Sydney Australia :)
Let me know when and i can join you!
@@NYCHotDogStands Sounds like a plan :) Ill pack my jacket it looks cold in your neck of the woods at the moment.. its a balmy 100F (38 degrees) here today !
@@__PJ__ that sounds fun
@@mountainclawoutdoors It was !! Cheers :)
I like your videos your a very humble guy I like and respect that keep up the good work cool videos
I appreciate that
empanada... another to add to my list..
Man these are great reviews and I'm not even from America.
Great video Chris!
Glad you enjoyed it
Dats a good cart (first cart in vid)...I work around there..combo (lamb n' chicken) over rice is bangin' from that cart 🤤..though maybe sometime I'll get a dawg
Ok, so I'm guessing you like your onions fried ? I've never heard of a Empanada let alone taste one. I've got a great idea for you Chris. You should make up a Hotdog/Empanada/Gyro eating guide listing all the best locations to get the best hotdogs and sell them on line.
Empanada man looking around like the cartels got a contract out on him lol
Apparel business is very interesting and you need to comply with those marking rules :) And yes, in many cases, those $250 jeans are made in the same place as the $50 jeans.
Correct. But I should have mentioned not everything. For example, Hand-crafted leather shoes have their price tag based on quality. In this case, I am talking about mass-produced items like Underwear, socks, jeans, tees, etc. Things they can move in and out quickly.
CAN I ask why are the streets devoid of people ?
I've had this exact spot. Its a 3/10 for me.
A cart selling $2 empanadas in NYC? That's considered a good deal. Heck, I know few carts that sell $4 empanadas and have same amount of filling as the $2 guy.
Did you forget to score the hotdog?!
7.1. Not bad. Not my fave.
so all the fancy fashion stuff is the same as less fancy stuff? just different labels put on? so that mean you will buy you posh shoes in walmart next time? lol
Not all items. But mass produced yes. Jeans, shirts, underwear, etc.
@@NYCHotDogStands LOL I was only tasing you 🙂
Dude only one not to eat dog with ketchup 😅
Do you remember the hotdog from that hotdog vendor well enough to rate it still? I did not hear a rating in this video.
I dont. I would have to look.
Halal carts makes the worst hot dogs. And, they hate the idea of providing red onions on their dogs and they don't use spicy mustard
I worked at 1411 bway for years, tried his halal food(not the best,) never his Dogs.
Hi Chris! Thank you for doing what you do! I would like to suggest a location for you to visit. It is called Yonah Schimmel's Knish. It has been open for over 100 years and has been a family favorite for 3 generations. Happy holidays!!!
On the list!!!
Why do they always try to put ketchup on when you don’t even ask for it when you’re in New York City. The people on these cars can’t even speak English or understand English and you’re buying food from them. It’s weird
The empanada hustle…everybody wins
costco has hotdog and pepsi for $1.50
He looks nervous why is he looking around so much
👍❤️
🌭👍🏻
