The new blades are great. The bad thing about this demonstration is while he was using the abrasive cut-off wheel, he acted like a late night infomercial. He pushed just hard enough to generate sparks without really cutting the metal efficiently. Annoying. Diablo needs to let their products speak for themselves and stop the fabricated drama.
What was the thickness and age of that abrasive blade? No way it takes that long. Diablo makes some of the best blades I've ever used so I see no reason for the deception. Pretty annoying. Anyone using these products sees right through the BS. No need for it.

They did not demonstrate the blade mounted on a mains-powered construction saw, only battery-powered ones that do not have such a high rpm.

I agree it is not nearly as clean of a cut and makes a big mess. I’m simply commenting on the “Theatrics” of his use of the abrasive cut-off wheel.
