    Very informative! Love your seed organization. I have mine in a small cardboard box but I may need to upgrade to a shoebox! Happy gardening to you.

    I was soo happy to see this video! I was yelling at the TV "I grow that too!" 😂 (Carrot Tonda di Parigi, Sorrel, Onion Stuttgarter) and I felt that you mentioned the Chef's Choice Tomato Sandwich just for me.. 😍😄
    In Hungary we have sorrel growing everywhere in my parents garden, and we used to make a soup from it, when I was a child. 😊
    Greetings, Judit

    I love turnip especially mashed with carrots. That white one I must try to find. Great selections, will enjoy following along as everything grows.

      What a boost to morale in the middle of winter, here in locked down England. I also love the different (for me) American vocabulary ... pole-beans, hoop-house, dirt .... Instead of runner beans, polytunnel and soil🤗

    I love cocozelle zucchini. So beautiful. Very prolific. Have you ever grown oxheart tomatoes, pink oxheart , Hungarian heart. They are great. Like a paste, but earlier and more productive

      Hi, Melissa. I haven't tried oxheart tomatoes yet but I really appreciate the recommendation!

    There are so many new seed varieties that I want to try this year, however, my garden space is limited so I'll have to be choosy. At the end of each growing season, I decide which varieties are worth growing again the following year because I always want to save space for a few new selections. Thankfully it won't be long until I can start Winter Sowing some of my 2021 garden seeds. I hope you and your family all have a safe and healthy 2021! ~Margie

    I'm in CT and have had the same sorrel plant for many years. The rabbits love it so I had to moveit inside the fenced in vegetable garden

    Thanks for all the wonderful information and well produced videos. Definitely going to try a couple of your suggestions. I was looking for a melon to grow in our short cool-ish season (northeastern U.S. zone 5) that would still be tasty. We randomly tried Stripped Roman tomatoes last year just for giggles. Liked them so much we'll definitely be growing them this year again. Big, heavy yielding paste tomatoes but also surprisingly good for fresh eating in salads or sandwiches.

    Hi Susan! Great choices of seeds. Just wanted to point out to you that sorrel is a perennial. I love it. I use it in omelettes.

    • @SusansInTheGarden
      @SusansInTheGarden  3 роки тому +1

      Hi, Alda. Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure if it will be a perennial in our climate, but we shall see in a couple of months!

      @@SusansInTheGarden Hi Susan, it is in my climate zone 3b so you will be just fine. Keep up the great work you do. I enjoy all your videos. Do you grow asparagus? Maybe you can dedicate one bed to perennial plants. Or you probably already have. Plant once and enjoy for ever!

    • @SusansInTheGarden
      @SusansInTheGarden  3 роки тому +1

      @@aldas3831 Wow, it sounds like it will definitely be a perennial here then! Yes, we have an asparagus bed and also grow our artichokes there. Not sure if I can squeeze in the sorrel as well but great suggestion.

      @@SusansInTheGarden I have seen asparagus planted with a ground cover like strawberries. Sorrel will have enough sun while asparagus is growing and shade from asparagus bushes in the hight of summer. Worth experimenting with different locations.

      That is so odd because 2021 is directly below it. Here's a direct link: www.susansinthegarden.com/guides/susans-garden-2021/. I've removed the one for my 2020 garden. Let me know if you have any problems accessing this year's list.
