I so enjoy your channel! You are a wealth of information and it sounds like you are a very busy lady helping so many people learn to garden well! I have my milk jugs with seeds lined up on my deck. (Under snow at the moment) And, I am excited about ordering your book!! I'm finding your website a great resource as well, so thank you for all of the work you put into helping us fellow gardeners!!
Have you heard of Lisa Mason Ziegler? Well, I wonder if artichoke is like a cool season annual. In that case, you would grow seeds indoors and transplant out 6-8 weeks BYLF.
@@SusansInTheGarden yes ma’am. The wind is blowing here and we are covered in ice as well. We have snow in the forecast in the next couple of days....but we are Thankful for the moisture any way we can get it I guess.
@@gailpresley73 Thank you so much, Gail. Be sure to forward your order confirmation to me (Susan@susansinthegarden.com) so I can send you the link to the bonus material!
@@SusansInTheGarden we are experiencing an Arctic vortex 🙄I drive a school bus and we drove yesterday because it was only -44 but today was -46 Monday and Tuesday was -49 tomorrow isn’t looking good either.

Great idea for growing onions from seed. I will try it out. Thanks for sharing this information.
Helpful sharing
I just purchased your other book. I look forward to reading it!

I have heard of her but don't know her personally. Artichokes can be perennials if one's winters are milder than what we have.
Just listened to the podcast, Susan. Very well done and informative. Looking forward to your book!
Thank you for this great information! I'm going to try artichokes this year - fingers crossed! (I'm in zone 6a).
Very helpful!
Mine were a dud .. never again😂
Thank you so much. I am interested in your book and pest control without poisons.
Wonderful! For more info on it, you can go to my website, SusansintheGarden.com/books. I'm so glad you also want to go with organic methods.
👍
Does the book include research on bugs & pests of the Northeast?
This book covers all regions, both nationally and internationally!
It’s 19 degrees here in West Texas.
Wow, that's chilly for Texas! It was 18 degrees today but with a nasty wind chill on top of that!
