My goodness I am African American ADOS to be exact. I'm on this journey of learning about the continent of Africa. I was told growing up that we black people dont culture and Africans on the continent were just straight savages. The images we got were always starving children with swollen bellies I'm so glad my Aunt visited Senegal West Africa and South Africa and came back and called a family meeting to let us know we come from a beautiful culture and it's just as diverse as any other culture. Watching this fills me with so much pride I love seeing black people outside of the United states of America . I love celebrating the diversity of Black African culture.
Wow! What harmony and well-being. Even though I don't understand anything, but this song brought tears to my eyes. As a Haitian 🇭🇹, my ancestors were Africans from all over Africa I told myself that I may have roots in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Uganda and Benin. Because I love your music and rhythm too much. It's almost the same dances with my country. Please, can someone traduce the song for me ( French, English or Spanish)? Thanks in advance!
They are just praising the burundian beauty. Her smile, the way she talks.... everything the beauty of a Burundian woman. Anyway you are welcome to discover the beauty of our Burundi.
Thanks for the appreciation. However Rwandans, Burundians and Eastern Congolese weren't taken to the Americas. So you may have roots in western Congo, precisely the Kongo kingdom and Benin

Have you heard about the existence of the Bahima Empire in the Greater Lake? Bahima are found in Uganda, DR Congo, Burundi and , South Sudan and Tanzania(Karagwe).
