TIMESTAMPS:
Man, as much as I love all of Jessica's characters, I think my favourite is the bartender. I wish we got more skits involving her.
Mee too!
Thirded!
YES!
Me 5
I like her too.
that smooth 4th wall break reminding us that the front desk is still human and needs to understand that you shouldn't put a common BS for them to make it your problem later on is quite impressive ngl
Only thing missing was the stalker screaming she "didn't do anything wrong!" lmfao
And "I know my rights"
I would have loved to have seen a police offer appear to make an arrest.
You mean dindunufin.
or use the “im pregnant” card
I think that would be "I didn't do nothin' wrong" hehe
Well the last skit of "The stalker" is amazing. This is a direct answer to the skit where the wife demanded and was refused a key room to his husband's room when her name was not on the reservation.
You do not know what really happened to the couples, so it is better to be safe than sorry
I'm 48 I spent 15 years working in the hotel industry strating in the early 2000s. I'm depressed to say that "your storing my personal data on my room key" myth is at least that old. It wasn't true then either.
7:21 Stalker: "Hi there!"
Natalia: "I'll call you right back. Hi ma-am-"
The way she just paused XD
Nat is easily my favorite.
7:43 l love that this is a sassy girl conversation. Like, l love the way Natalia talked to her and handled the situation 😂😂
Stalker incident happened at my hotel as well. A lady staying on our property booked direct with her rewards number. her abusive husband (who'd been following her state to state) got that information somehow and tried to authorize himself to get a key so he knew her room number too! luckily not from any of our fd staff. Her husband was a police officer - came in asking about her. I told him we don't have anyone staying here under that name and I couldn't give him any information without a warrant. Luckily he didn't try that again! He wasn't even an officer in my state! Scary for the guest though. Would have been so easy for him to scare someone just by walking in in uniform.
Poor lady, I hope she got away from him completely
The remote one remind me of a pizza delivery I had to take care of. Take the order "Need any goodies for your food on the side" "Nope, we don't need anything". Calls later "I can't believe you forgot to bring ranch" "Forgot? You said you needed nothing on the side. I can have a driver bring some out, the next delivery goes near you" "Well, we'll need a new pizza, this one will be cold by then" *crickets* "Sorry, not going to replace that pizza because you got no sides when you told us you didn't need any".
I just stayed at the IHG at the Cleveland clinic. A whacko attacked the concerierge because he would not give her a room number and key for her "boyfriend ". She literally sprung across the desk at him. He put his arm up at the same time hitting a panic button. She was screeching like a banshee. People are NUTS.
I have been a jerk before…then to my horror realized I was wrong. It has taught me to be very, very slow to anger when “other people” mess up.
At least the guest in the first sketch is one of the few to actually implicitly acknowledge that they were in the wrong and asking for something they had no reason to expect.
4:37 - On the plus side, since the keys are just pieces of plastic, the guest probably didn't cost the hotel very much money by destroying them. I've accidentally kept a good half-dozen hotel keys from different hotels over the years, and literally nobody ever cares. They just deactivate the old key and make a new one.
Oh, believe me when I say that the hotels will charge a you a lot to replace those. I saw fliers on hotels saying that they will charge from 50€-200€ and I did my fair share of travelling to resort hotels.
I have forgotten to return my key card many times. Can't speak for any other country but in my experience girls in the US don't seem to care
I've seen them at left at odd places.
@andreimircea2254
Maybe it is different at some resort hotels. I have asked regular hotels before if I should mail back the keys, and they told me not to bother.
WOOP WOOP ITS THE SOUND OF THE POLICE had me rolling on the floor 😂😂
😂
About the stalker thing, I worked at a Six Flags park before working at my hotel. Late evening (it's 9ish, park closed at 6), a park employee comes running through the security office, enroute to the employee parking lot. Seconds later, he comes running back. A shift sergeant and I look out the window and see a woman with an object in her hand. We run out to the porch. We try to make it to the steps, but she gets there first. She trips on the stairs and starts crying.
We go to help her up. The object she had in her hands was half of a glass coke bottle (she had broken half of it vandalizing her boyfriend's car) and when she fell, she pierced her solar plexus area. Bleeding heavily, she becomes combative and we have no choice but to cuff her. The dispatcher, seeing everything through the window, is already on the phone with 911. The police get there first and offer no help as we try to stem the bleeding. The ambulance finally gets there. The EMT's take one look and decide to do a scoop and go.
It really annoys me when people don’t listen to the hotel employees when they are saying something important!
Yeah they think that they are always right when SOMETIMES IT YOU FRICKIN FAULT (i understand sometimes it can be the employees faults but plz plz plz Double check That you did everything that you could before yelling at someone that works there)
I need moar bartender Jess... Love your content !
Love watching your videos! I’ve learned so much about the hospitality industry from your videos 🫶
Jessica's eyes at 7:24 are like Bambi with bloodlust.
That's why the hotel staff legally cannot tell you any information about any of the rooms without even knowing your name, let alone seeing your ID
The stalker skit is actually my favorite
This is the earliest I've been to one of her videos lol
I love it that Jessica actually has me sucked in that these are all different people. She is so good at this
I love the characters and how you perform each one. These are hilarious 😂
I wonder how many of these stories are passed on to her from other employees and how may she witnessed. Also, who else would love to have Jessica here as their manager!
Love that stalker skit!😂😂😂
I re-watch these videos all the time! The characters she portays are awesome!
These are valid in terms of attitude and refusal to listen for any service industry. Please people, dont treat the staff poorly. They dont make the rules!
Natalia’s incredulous “how did you get the room number” in the stalker skit hits so much different after seeing the skit from her being hired. *This* is why FD agents don’t say the number out loud when checking people in, girl!
Ohhh Natalia hahaha, she's so vivacious
I’m ready to see these Karens rumble 😂
😂😂I've been out of the hospitality biz for over 25 years now. But some things Never change!
The AMEX lady just went blue screen of death once she finally got the reasons 😂
I've seen the second video before, but I didn't notice the necklace. I LOVE the necklace! It appears to be a stone of some sort. I might be willing to become a stalker to find out where you got that necklace! 😉
I want to know where to ger the perfume phone.
3:43 WHO IS THIS DIVA?! She's giving LazyTown, she's giving Teenage Dream Katy Perry, she's giving Strawberry Shortcake! WORK!
Under an hour gang
Finished when it was 36 mins ago!
@@P1anetaryW0r1ds-- sounds like a personal issue 😅
here
The keycards where I work store the name on the reservation, the check in and check out date and the room number(s). And that's it. They are also reusable so we really like to have them back.
Sorry for asking you this, but do they? Or does the system?
Don't get me wrong, I know many people think that certain data is saved on the card, but I think it is an important difference. If it is stored on the card you could read out the name and even worse the room number, if you knew the method for saving. That would be like a hell of a security breach. But I do know a lot of systems that are not much more than running, power-sucking security breaches.
Best line was at the end by Natalia: "I called it!"
I mean credit to number two for eventually realizing her own fault and cooling down, thats rare in these stories
Jessica: how would you feel about a hotel that added a channel to the guest TV service with YOUR content?
The office closes in 2 hours and she says I will be there in 3 hours and my favorite this dufis sleeps on a TV remote and wonders why the TV will not turn off
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Did too many of the last one, except hotel Loss Prevention made the arrest, processed either the man or woman, and worked with police and prosecutors.
I love watching your videos they always make me laugh 😂❤. Thank you for sharing.
THATS INSANE!!!!
I LOVE the managers lipstick! What brand and color is it??
Love your vids, but......... You make a scary manager!!
I love these videos. ❤
Thank you, Natalia, for raising your hand...😊
Hey, I just noticed that the stalker looks a lot like Jessica. They should also put a lit of the stalker's distinguishing features with that photo of her! 😂
Love ya, Jess
I feel all these at personal level 😅😂
I could never ever do that job and I’m a nurse so that’s saying a lot!!! 😅
I was literally looking for new compilations in her videos and got this notification
Love how this is skit compilation 16 and this was 16 hours ago
The stalker skit is my favorite. Your stalker character looks 16. That's not why it's my favorite. Just mentioning that.
Hi I love your vids
Cuckoo for Cocoa puffs 😂😂😂
2 minutes and i found this i feel like commiting a crime by how early i am
Your stories make me want to work the front desk at a hotel. I’m in a wheelchair, so jobs are limited
Love the continuing sagas
that was good.. hahaha
Men get stalked to… good to see that recognition. Now don’t get me wrong, women are at WAY more risk, and when it happens it ends in violence way more often, but it is terrifying knowing that a sociopath can say or do something and it not be believed because she is not seen as a threat.
The whole thing with the key cards having all our info is something I have seen reported in multiple places in regards to protecting your personal information. If that ISN’T the case, the hotel should probably try to make that clear to customers.
The places that report it are the same web sites that claim it happens
Cuckoo for cocoa puffs calls it!
I work at a dog boarding facility. Thats where we come in
Hope you get well soon ❤
Hey, my stove used to turn itself on. The people that lived here before me, had told me about it, but until I smelled my cast iron skillet that I kept in the oven burning.😢
Not the cast iron skillet!
@ariadnefrolich7243 yep, and that is a smell you never want to experience. It was so nice and seasoned😪😪
So fun!
The stalker makes me think of a country song
"But, I left my ID in my room by mistake ".
"I'm his wife, what's his is mine"
Imagine a beaten wife running from her abusive husband and you'll understand the logic behind their policies...
Or a beaten husband
Yea but fr that is a large reason
I have been in the same situation in a very slow, small ER. FOUR hours and I was more upset as her but still not yelling. Ugh. And I couldn't leave I needed to get done what I came in for. About 10 minutes later they were able to find room for me. Not sure if I made the difference or not but I finally got in. 🤗
Love you, love your characters as always, Jess! But why the music in the stalker sequence? It was loud and made it really tough to hear the words of one of your funniest (and sadly, truest) bits. Hugs!
It is so sad what people would do in the name of love. I feel for the ex girlfriend sometimes that I definitely feel for the boyfriend for sure.
How come everyone at the hotel is so good looking? Both staff and guests. Is it a requirement of the hotel?
I JUST GOT HERE FOUR MINUTES UNDER AN HOUR
I love Natalia.
💜💜💜💜💜
People that believe that credit cards hold huge amounts of info
The mag strip cards used by hotels have 2 tracks
Track 1 has only has room for 79 characters maximum
Track 2 only has room for 40 characters maximum
So no they do not have all your info on them
Now chip cards can store far more information and places like Disney have such units and they are encoded for their facilities, not general use
Hey Cliff...very late boomer here: rember tapeless cards? imprinters (manual & motorized)? carbon & carbonless receipts? Weekly booklets listing all the bad card nrs?😁
Q:Why do financial cards even have tape now when they're all chipped?
Businesses that stay open during power or data outages record card info manually. None of them have imprinters or preprinted receipts. And next to no retail workers rember sales that required any writing at all.
The biggest thing I miss is the delivery rub: our pizza driver wrote the sale on a receipt, took our card, put it against the front door, put the receipt over it, rubbed their pen over it, checked that the embossed info was legible, returned the card, held the receipt on the door while I signed it, then thanked us and headed back to base.
Peopke are really like this too!! Sad!
First thing you need to learn about costumer service, "people are idiots"
Kookoo for cocopuffs love ot
Just curious, what happens if a hotel has no night staff and something in a room malfunctions or someone is disturbing other guests?
They may have an emergency number that guests can call.
Which Schmeriot does Jessica Vanel work at? I would love to stay at that place.
Recently stayed ina different hotel. I was not asked to show my drivers license. Name, reservation , and credit card was good enough.
I stayed at 7 different hotels over the last few years. Some were mid-priced. Some were budget. ALL of them wanted to shoot a copy of my driver's license.
The front desk staff are human. So sometimes it depends who is checking you in. I’ve be with hotels for years and follow all the policies. For new people we train. They can make a good amount of mistakes until corrected.
yes gawd
Hi Jess
I refuse to be arrested. Doesn't work for SovCits either.
Trespassing and resisting arrest
It blows my mind how people can be so mean. I once spent 5nmintes apologizing for wsing the stars time
Wow, that is a terrible name for a business. I give you it is specific and clear, but it is way too long 😂
Under 5 hours gang
👇
...Folio?
Well, at least the woman at 4:20 turned out to be reasonable in the end.
These r sometimes funny to watch
Under an hour (Not begging)

Hmmmm. A PSA disguised as a funny skit. I'm cool with that!
Tahlia's the best. Is she available to meet up? Askin for a friend
I doubt I'll get a response, but maybe there's another hotel worker? I hardly travel anyway, but maybe I'll need it for a future kid. How do you handle screaming babies? My son is almost 2, but he's very particular and pretty much ONLY sleeps in his bed. He's slept in his pack n play somewhat recently, and he had his favorite lamb, so I didn't think it would be a problem. He ended up sleeping in our bed the first night, but the second night he WOULD NOT sleep. Some girl across the hall opened the door just to cuss and slam the door again. I understand the frustration, but did she think I wasn't TRYING to "shut that f'ing baby up"? What did she accomplish except a bigger disturbance? He only cried for a few minutes, but after that my husband decided it was best to leave. They came back and after a few minutes, he started again. My husband only let him make noise (not nearly as loud as the first time) for not even 10 seconds before he jumped up and whisked him away again. It's funny, because my husband is always the one telling me not to care about other people, but he was really concerned with her so much so that he didn't even allow me to try to get him to settle, and instead we were all up until 5 am. By default, if it asks for age of kids when booking, do they try to place them in a particular area if it's available? Should I make a note to try to be as secluded as possible? How long would they have to scream before we could get in trouble? What have you seen people do in that situation?
That is a difficult situation. I hope someone responds with ideas.
Hiii
Yo Jessica? Have you ever encountered hookers at hotels? Or groupies, or paparazzi? One of my uncles is the president of the stage hand union. I would watch his son while he worked. I would get invited to after parties. I actually wrnt back to the hotel with Paul and Linda McCartney. That tells you how old I am. They are 2 really nice and intelligent people. They were chased by people in the hotel. The staff had to deal with all kinds of insane behavior. I went to the seelbach hotel for the moody blues to get Graham went he had liver problems and I had to take him to the ER. I had to get through the hotel staff then too.
