I was looking for a set exactly like this for the last couple of years. Finally, Tama came out with a kit with high-end features, slimmer toms, and all the things I wanted. I have played Tama kits for almost 40 years now and super glad I waited for this vs. jumping ship a year or so ago for another brand. This kit has hit all the sweet spots. I purchased the red kit and it is gorgeous. Sounds great. Perfect price point.

It's amazing how many drum promo videos have poorly-recorded kits. Not this one! While I think I would have preferred a touch more warmth in the mix (to make the drums sound a bit more warm/tonal), this video makes them sound great. And really, they're being played well, so it doesn't matter that I can't speak a lick of German. Great video!

anyone knows the mic he's using?
Yes. Sennheiser MD421 on toms, Beyer m160 ribbon on hihat, SM57 together with another mic on the snare... Thats the ones I can spot.
