I really don't think any True Blue Travel would be complete without comedian Jon in tow. This channel is the only one I have followed in 10 years that has more than just positive van builds, time on the road, scenery and quips to make the narrative extra special. 😊
My Saturday morning routine now, feed the dog make a cuppa and put the latest TBT vlog on. Truly impressive how much Jess manages to eat, and the enthusiasm she has for her food, just as a viewer we can tell in the Generals eyes whether she has eaten that day or not 😂. As a fellow ( but not as slim)foody I can only admire the work Jess must put in behind the scenes to keep so fit with an intake like that 👍🏻. The no eye contact is 100% correct, so showing the Jess in mid flow for the giggles shows its not just Jon who’s up for some self embarrassment for our entertainment 💪. As always another brilliantly put together fascinating video 💕
Jess in the loo overnight. Jon was right in his idea and I can prove it, but not here, just take my word for it. When you are bursting and you go to the loo, loose so much but then wait and relax. Take some deep breaths and low and behold it starts again. It saves a further trip. I read this somewhere and it works for me.

I remember years ago in Tunisia, taking photos of government buildings was forbidden. Stupidly took a photo with my disposable (showing my age) and a copper took it and jumped on it. Smiled at me said "enjoy" walked off. Not sure if it's the same there or not. Great video, safe travels guys
I was with Jon, off the ferry straight in to sand dunes, obviously I’m clueless as well! Another fascinating Vlog guys, a work colleague went to Fes a couple of years ago, stayed in a Airbnb, he was bored stupid after a week (it constantly poured with rain which didn’t help), towns and city’s often, but not always, over rated. Stay safe and have fun this week!

Hi guy's, not sure which way you're coming back through Spain but ive lived there manys years on and off. If you fancy the west coast route i can recommend a few places that covers most of it. Caves of Nerja, absolutely stunning. Easy to walk around, no hard harts needed lol. Then Alhambra palace is worth a trip then over the Sierra nevada national park back to the coast. Mojacar, lovely little village perched on a hillside. Up to Cartagena, historical port well worth a visit and lots of walks to do. Next is Torrevieja and the salt fields (usually some wild flamingos there and you can have a swim/float in them). Next up Alicante castle, go up the Turbo lift and a nice walk back down (castle at the top obs😂) then up to Barcelona and yoir not far from France then. Have fun and see ya next week 👍♥️
Jon doing that parkour jump could have meant a slip on the loose gravel and a broken leg, then off to hospital with a big bill and Jess driving till you got home. And I thought that this was to be a fun but safe trip, not doing crazy antics at the start. Next as soon as you are in the desert, you will want to run up and down the dunes with the snakes.

Got up early for the Saturday Special Jess and Jon Show Morocco Road Trip. Great one guys. That medina looked scary though. Oddly reassuring to see so many police about. Wish the UK had more bobbies like the old days. Morocco landscape not what I expected. Interesting. Safe trucking guys 👍😁

Great jokes Jon and the parkour too, the rural Morroco looks amazing and nothing like Agadir. The people can be a bit forceful and wanting money but seem to be good overall, must have been a bit scary in the medina. Hope to see more of the country over the next few weeks; would be quicker if not for all the wee stops for Jess😂

For walking up and down the hills, you might want to invest in a pair of telescopic walking sticks per person. Really light and especially down hill way safer (and allow you to descend more quickly). After the majority of the day climbing, you’re tired and prone to making mistakes getting down. Safe travelling!

Morning, 💙 I’m a bit late, had a lay in this morning 👌🏼 Love that you’re in Morocco🇲🇦 That hike looked lush, even though you didn’t find the waterfall, “Jon, shut it, you muppet” 🤣😂 The blue city was absolutely gorgeous. You will constantly be approached about everything you can think of because you’re English & because Jess is blonde. It’s very much like Tunisia. Jon, when you gotta go, you gotta go 🚽🧻 leave Jess alone. That bloody “drone” 🤦🏼♀️ Walking up those dark alleys looked a bit scary, everyone wants to help, but then they expect to be paid, luckily you found some genuine people to point you in the right direction, for nothing. Not sure about the financial state of Morocco, but Tunisia is a very poor country, so you’re constantly being hounded by people trying to help, but then want paying for it, it’s a closed currency so the more tourists, the better it is for them, 80% of the people are genuinely lovely & super friendly. Anyway, looked beautiful so far, looking forward to the rest of the Moroccan adventure. See you next Saturday 💙✌🏻xxx

I moved to Spain about 15 years ago and have made the crossing to Morocco numerous times. It is one of the most friendly places you can travel to BUT I have learned a few rules the hard way - do not fuck with the police, the national flag or their religious beliefs. And finally, avoid the back streets in the Medina's especially at night but if you really have to go there; don't go alone. Oh and if you must try the weed, get it from outside the towns. Every small village has "Someone who knows".
@@Tearoze Depends on what you mean by 'medina'. In it's truest sense it's just the oldest part of any north African town or city - and that's the meaning I take. So then it depends on which town or city you felt safe walking through unchallenged. And by unchallenged I mean anything from aggressive begging to mugging.
@@gillie-monger3394 Define Medina however you choose. Marrakech has very few violent crimes, and when they do occur, they nearly never target tourists. You can walk around the city with confidence, knowing that you are unlikely to be attacked or mugged.
@@Tearoze Not up to me to define a Medina just try using a dictionary. Marrakech is a tourist hot spot and policed quite well. If you just stick to those places you may as well be in Benidorm or Blackpool! Try going in-country regularly and you'll find out.

Hope you’re having a brilliant time. There are secure car parks in all the bigger towns with attendants who keep an eye on your vehicle for a very reasonable price so safer in some ways than other places. 😂😂 I always have the munchies 💙

I sympathise with you Jess, I have a serious pea bladder, my first job wherever I go is to reccy where the toilets are. I also have to pee every couple of hours in the night, it's bloody annoying but can't be helped..🤣. I cannot believe John filmed you on the toilet, he is a nightmare..😂

Happy you've made it over without a hitch, looks like amazing scenery all over so far but I'm with Jon, I'm a fast traveller so I get bored too.. for example, I drove from England, Calais, Stuttgart, Munich, all over north and mid Italy including Rome and back to Geneva and Paris and home all in 2 weeks. Isn’t it crazy how places are often so different to your expectations? Never been to Morocco but have experienced similar to your blind alley in Tunisia. You really don’t know who to trust but on the whole,e, they are friendly people. Safe travels guys, catch you in the next episode.

And also a bit of boring one but what is the defender like to drive on such long journeys? Is it comfortable enough in the cab as I've heard they can be quite loud in terms of road and wind noise and panel noise

North Morocco somehow looks similar to Spain, green landscape but as long as you drive south it gets dry.

Walking up those dark alleys looked a bit scary, everyone wants to help, but then they expect to be paid, luckily you found some genuine people to point you in the right direction, for nothing.
Not sure about the financial state of Morocco, but Tunisia is a very poor country, so you’re constantly being hounded by people trying to help, but then want paying for it, it’s a closed currency so the more tourists, the better it is for them, 80% of the people are genuinely lovely & super friendly.
Anyway, looked beautiful so far, looking forward to the rest of the Moroccan adventure.

I moved to Spain about 15 years ago and have made the crossing to Morocco numerous times. It is one of the most friendly places you can travel to BUT I have learned a few rules the hard way - do not fuck with the police, the national flag or their religious beliefs. And finally, avoid the back streets in the Medina's especially at night but if you really have to go there; don't go alone.
Oh and if you must try the weed, get it from outside the towns. Every small village has "Someone who knows".

@@Tearoze Depends on what you mean by 'medina'. In it's truest sense it's just the oldest part of any north African town or city - and that's the meaning I take.
So then it depends on which town or city you felt safe walking through unchallenged. And by unchallenged I mean anything from aggressive begging to mugging.
@@gillie-monger3394 Define Medina however you choose. Marrakech has very few violent crimes, and when they do occur, they nearly never target tourists. You can walk around the city with confidence, knowing that you are unlikely to be attacked or mugged.
@@Tearoze Not up to me to define a Medina just try using a dictionary. Marrakech is a tourist hot spot and policed quite well. If you just stick to those places you may as well be in Benidorm or Blackpool!
Try going in-country regularly and you'll find out.

Happy you've made it over without a hitch, looks like amazing scenery all over so far but I'm with Jon, I'm a fast traveller so I get bored too.. for example, I drove from England, Calais, Stuttgart, Munich, all over north and mid Italy including Rome and back to Geneva and Paris and home all in 2 weeks. Isn’t it crazy how places are often so different to your expectations? Never been to Morocco but have experienced similar to your blind alley in Tunisia. You really don’t know who to trust but on the whole,e, they are friendly people. Safe travels guys, catch you in the next episode.

Jon you have cracked my up in the last couple of episodes, some the stuff you come out with 😂 any news on the new build vehicle? And also a bit of boring one but what is the defender like to drive on such long journeys? Is it comfortable enough in the cab as I've heard they can be quite loud in terms of road and wind noise and panel noise
