Hi guys , you look like you’ve enjoyed Tetouan, by the way the FAQOSSA is not a biscuit, it’s sort of a sweet bread with fennel seeds and gum Arabic, you only find it in Tetouan and Tangier , also in shefshawen, FAQQAS is a biscuit shaped like a moon.

تطوان مدينة ناسها مزال شادين ف التراث و ف الدين يعني العراء قليل بزاااف و حتى هادوك البلايص ديال الخمر و الشيشا متلقاش حتى وحدا فيها.

تطوان فيها ماثر تاريخية اكثر واحسن من طنجة انها مدينة سياحية بامتياز لكن طنجة خطفت منها الاضواء بسبب موقعها المطل على البحر

i really loved how shop owner are so honest with prices , they never scammed her or anything... even the fakassa shop spelled Fifteen dirhams incorrectly , (fifty) she thought its fifty but he gave her the change back.. wow Amazing

All that for Facasia and we never got to see what it was up close.
Faqassa is a special swet type of bread to the town of Tetouan it has a lot of engriedients on it like funnel seed orange blossom water Arabic gum etc.. offered mainly in weedings and family gathering along with other special local pastry like Ka'b Gzal Mlouza etc.. best when eaten with the Moroccan tea with herbs on it.

@@gavinsteiner3759 its like the old medina of marrakech but in white and much cooler if you ask me , and in every corner you will find a unesco heritage house / mosque or an old school , most of them back in the 12/13/14/15/16 century , i go there twice a year even tho its 600km away from me , its like a therapy session, highly recommend

Tetouan is one of my favorite cities in the country -Normally the old medina isn't that crowded but it was Holidays/Ramadan- when it comes to the old medina you only visited the jewish part and not the old medina where muslims used and still live, Artisanal shops, where u can go up and enjoy the Tannery also a panoramic view of the Tetouan and the small cities arround it. your vlog put a smile on my face, seeing yours also the kindess of tetouan's locals. I heard the guy selling Fakasa saying 50 but I think he meant 15. The people of the north speak more Arabic and Spanish, a bit of French but not many speak English.

You missed so much in kenitra. You only experienced the very old traditional stops. There is a lot more to see than just that stop.
Check the lake, the river and mahdiya beach. Leave your caravan sometime and experience the bullet train from kenitra to Tangier then cross to Spain 😉 🚅
