@@IndianaDoug would you share with me the mods that you have done on that husky? Im not a pro but i love that saw and i would like to get it "ported", but here in italy i cant find anything and anyone to get it done
@@maxwellgellersen good question. I’d say most ppl just clean up or widen some of the ports to try and get better flow. Short of welding the chamber, there’s not much you can do to gain compression. I’ve been inside alot of clamshells to try and get more gains.
Great job Doug! Boy does she whistle dixie. Absolutely love the cosmetic work too.
Thanks a lot👍🏻
Loving the sound on it now 😎
That saw is sweet!
Looks great and runs great as well!!!
Thanks 👍
Really looks great!
I appreciate it👍🏻
Runs good I've got a 45cc one I've had for almost a year I ain5 even looked at they are fun saws
I like my 45cc ones better personally. But they’re all great saws.
Love it!
Thanks Corey
Nice saw,just subscribed 👍
Appreciate ya 👍🏻
Best saw ever for Finland forest work, meny branch in trees.😅
How do you port a saw?
I’m still trying to figure that out myself🤣
Neeed to raise that exhaust up buddy she’s got mor in her.
I got a couple ppl saying that. I’m gonna think some more on it.
@@IndianaDoug not much to think about man lol. Way low exhaust and a lot of machine work and too much compression.
It does have a lot of compression. I have the 14k limited coil on it too with no timing advance.
Raise that exhaust then you’ll really smile. Lots hiding in there
I’ll message you.
Where can i buy that carbon clutch cover? Im from italy
lol. I actually made that. It’s not carbon fiber. I just covered it and the handle with an automotive wrap.
@@IndianaDoug anyway, well done!

i’m indiana local and i have this ms311 that needs ported doug
Not a lot you can do to clamshell design saws. Muffler mod and a sharp chain.
@@IndianaDoug so why do people port them then if there isn’t a lot to do?
