The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is absolutely worth reading even if you’ve seen the movie. I watched it when I was about 15% through the book and really appreciated the differences. I’m very much looking forward to the new one.
I was putting away groceries so only half listening and when you mentioned this girl in Grady Hendrix was at that facility. I was expecting you to say “she’s pregnant and goes to this facilities and gets the other girls pregnant” 😂 and I was like what a weird plot twist. And then my brain caught up to To your actual words
Altho I enjoyed the two other Fenney books I’ve read (RPS & DD), I found “Beautiful Ugly” a hot mess & highly disappointing. I just finished Grady Hendrix’s “Wayward Girls” novel & I would only recommend it for hardcore fans. Lotsa body horror, weird witch scenes, & it all goes on way too long, IMO. I really enjoyed the other two I’ve read of his, “How To Sell A Haunted House,” & the one about the vampire who joins the book club, & looking forward to reading more of his backlist. I love his writing & the campy horror.
This is my favorite type of video from you
you always find the most interesting books ❤
Great video, ty, looking forward to some good thrillers
Added a few to my list! ❤
I had many of these on my TBR but I added a few more that sound like real jewels. Great video!
Wasn't a big fan of Beautiful Ugly and its a shame because that is one of my favorite covers!
Birthday party demon is high up on my list for February releases 🎂
I am soooo freaking excited for Witchcraft for Wayward Girls, already have it preordered! Eeeek!

I expected to see The Dollhouse Academy in here. Did I miss it?
I love Margaritas Montimore’s previous novels but that one doesn’t sound up my alley 😬 I’m going to wait it out to hear some reviews
Anyone else find it weird when male authors write almost exclusively about women, mostly young women?
Yes, agree
None of these sound good :(
