A couple of tips for others that might have the same issue: I couldn't for the life of me get this to work, until I figured out that you need to have an SD Card in the F6 for this to work (even though you can't record to it). Otherwise, the USB mode doesn't work. And two: if it says the device is not working in Audition, try Stereo Mix on the F6 instead of Multi Track (the top option, in other words). That made it work for me. Thanks for all the insightful videos Marcel! They're really inspirational. I actually bought a bunch of gear because of you ;-)
Hahaa.. you are so funny, you make me smile... love this content.. will this work with GarageBand / Logic Pro? I've finally bought Zoom F6, now looking for the best budget microphone... I'm considering DPA 4060 for stealth recording because the LOM mics are hard to get... I'm also looking at AT4025.. which one first? 😅😆 thanks a lot for the great content... 👍
Hi! I think it should work with Garage Band as well. The DPA 4060 aren't budget but really good. They have no problem with pressure inside buses or trains. You can also look into Mic Booster's Clippys. The AT 4025 is great too and I would start with that.
Hi! Great video! I'm thinking about buying one of these, doing some research by the moment (: I'm wondering if it's possible to activate output 3-4 to make 2 different mixes (one for monitor and one for speakers) you know if its possible? Thank you Marcel!
hi , the latency is awful, can you change this? change the buffer size as usual? love your channel and energy :) And what about the using it to mix? can you easily plug monitoring speakers?
Hi Marcel... This video was so fun! 😂 By the way... I think in Audition it's not necessary to put the master in mono ... I don't use it but I'm pretty sure you can set the single track in mono and leave the master on stereo, so if you want to use, for example, a stereo vst instrument on another track, maybe with a ping pong delay, you can do that without compromising the output.
Thanks for the beneficial details and good luck with the repair of your headphones 🎧 Learning/working while having fun ^^ It reminds me of the few earphones that can be useful depending on the case (if we are looking for discreet listening) like : the Shure SE215 or Sennheiser IE40 Pro.
Hi, I just got the zoom F6 and trying the same... question though, is it actually inputting as 32-bit float to Mac? I can only see 24-bit in MIDI controller...
Hi Shareef. Yes for using it as interface you can't do it in 32 bit. You have to change to 24 bit and 192kHz is, I believe too high as well. I'm not home right now but try 92kHz or 48kHz-24bit and it should work. :)
@@FreeToUseSounds Cool.

Oh wow! That's really good advice! Thank you so much for sharing and we hope you enjoy the gear!
Very nice video thanks for that.
I can't get enough of such examples.
Thank you.
More videos of this type?: of course, super useful to to makes the most out of our F6. Thank you Marcel!
Thank you and tomorrow we have a new video coming up. :)

DANKE! Ich hatte ziemlichen Spaß! 😂
Super :)

Hi Alain, I'm not sure what you mean by changing the latency and buffer size? Are you talking about video quality?

Oh yes you're right! I saw that after editing and finishing the video.

Hi Ahmed! I check them out for you sure. :)
There is latency when I hearing myself in Audition. Do you have a solution?
I’d like to see your reaction with your voice running live through AutoTune! 😂
Oh yes that might be fun to try out :)
I just realized that the different looking level lines in interface mode are only because I changed the setting to 48kHz-24bit.
zoom f6 it's not compatible with Mojave sistem? because my mac don't find it
can you show how you record Zoom F6 with omnidirectional mic's from lom? The Setup, Work-flow, and post processing.
Hi! Thank you for that. I will think about how I can make such video more interesting for you.
How would you compare the Zoom F6 preamps vs the ones from a mix pre II?
I can't because I never used a Sound Devices/

Can you record a FaceTime call with the F6?
Hi Michael. I will try this out. Good question.
Bist du deutsch?
Steht auf meinem Reisepass. :)
