just an idea. if you run a fine, stiff wire along the handle, under the cord, and snag the ends of the paracord, you could probably pull the ends back under the cord so that you wouldn't see the ends.
Faltou a finalização da segunda corda - o começo e o final de cada operação é muito importante para que o trabalho fique completo. Poderia ter sido mais claro.
Awesome tutorial once again!! I love these videos. And this is also the same knot Benchmade shows how to do with their Adamas fixed blade. :) It's a great pattern. You do a much better job, however.
is the metal gear solid 3 cqc knife a paracord wrapped strider? i want it if it is i have been searching what kind of knife it was modeled after but no dice.
@XiTHeCeeBizzleiX Check out this guy I found on ebay, he shipped it out really fast and had great communication. He has quite a few different colors with apparently a bunch more colors to come. Go on ebay and search for: 50 ft ~ 550 Paracord ~ US made ~ para cord parchute 50' (His user name is mrredwings9mtb)
It may be sacrilege to mention this to a "knotty boy" but I have seen other videos where they soaked the finished handle (kind of like the one you show) in epoxy resin for a pretty much permanent solution. In that condition, you can't reuse the cordage in time of need though. 8-/
Closeup of your work, not your face, would be more useful. And you skipped a step finishing the handle. Hey, we know you're not a pro cinematog, but we need more clarity. Thanks!
For those of you wondering how to finish the first (70") layer, it ends just like it starts (@4:37), with the cut end tucked under itself.
THis can be a complicated task, but it is possible with enough patience and cursing!! Great Video!!
There is a major discontinuity at 5:28. How did you finish that wrap?
Great channel. The right knots are always very useful. Thanks for the video. Subbed.
how did you end the base layer wrap? great video! i was looking for this kind of knife wrapping this week, thank you so much for posting this video
A old lawnmower blade works perfect for breacher stock.
Nice vid , but did I blank out when u Finnished off the reg underwrap or is it that I'm high??
Awesome, This is a great knot!! 5/5 I love the knot of the week fromm ITStactical!!

Great video, 4 in a row. You got some great info.. Thanks
I like the apperance. If u were doing alot of prying I think the knots running up the center would hurt your hand after a while.
Thanks. Great demonstration! Good upload!
for a beginner it would be nice to show base wrap termination along with noting that the paracord has had the nylon inside removed

Nice G-Shock, I have the same one but mine is black with green writing
I keep checking back for a wrap on the dive knife, guess I'm going it alone!
Hahaha ... "LET'S GET RIGHT INTO THIS!" after one fifth of the video is already over. AWESOME! :-D
So what is the breacher bar good for?Can you break into houses or cars easily with it?
What is up with the strider wrap....you gonna do it? Nice Video BTW, very informative!!!

What knife is that next to the breacher bar?
Would the 70" and 120" dimensions also work for a Spyderco Mule?
yeah I was needing to know how to finish the first layer too....
@kgoerz Does this realy work being para cord is made of fibers that dont shrink ?
were do you get your paracord from? i need some more =)
do you have any nerve problem / make things faster.
is that bar sharp at all
Very nice. Great video.
cool . . . love the knot of the week feature.
Quick question. Where can I buy a bare knife like this?
how many feet of paracord do you need for this
I didn't understand the site where you bought the nife,, U no, the one where U spend "tons" of money. Can you tell me again please,
Thanks
Marv Meng hey marv..pay attention in school
how much is 70+120 inches in centimeters? :)
@getdownbro Break's right but it's not IN but OUT, (of i.e. a burning house or a crashed car).
Do you remove the strands from the outer tube?
rickd248 the strands will pull out easily of short pieces but gets harder the longer the piece
skyler chio I understand that, but what I am asking is, do you remove the inner strands prior to wapping the handle?
Come to think of it, that phrase "knotty boy" would make a great screen name for someone with knot tying skills. 8-)
Didn't show how to end the first layer?
CountyCom is the greatest site for gearoholics..
you need to soak the cord in hot water first. Then blow dry it dry to make it tight
If you stick it in water the paracord would tighten up right
My box of crap from countycomm just arrived. Best $50 bucks ever. God damn you though. God damn you for ever showing me this site.
Good video
Why title this Strider Knife when you didnt even wrap the knife?
good job
Well said
